    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

Don't wanna brag here, but I think this is the best card I've made in a long time. Sorry if that makes me sound big-headed. :p

That's cool, taking pictures from Deviant Art never occured to me. :p

BTW, where is this contest being held? A contest is sure to be the best place to see some good fakes (compared to some of the fakes taht have been cropping up here).

That's OK, no problem.

If I may, which part (or parts) of the card do you not like? The art? The blank? The placements?

If it's the art, then as I previously said I didn't draw it (I never draw my own art for my cards).

that little plus arnt the little energy card thingies in the wrong place?

I saved it as a JPG, so what? I saved it as maximum quality anyway. I also saved it as a high-quality BMP and they look exactly the same.

And no, the "little energy card thingies" (the Energy symbols, you mean :p) aren't in the wrong place. On many cards the symbols are between circles (instead of actually being on top of them) in order to centre the attack or attacks. ;)

As I (think I) said before, awesome card! (The Arbok one on your DA is up there too, but I really love this Typhlosion card)

First of all, kudos to you for using the elements of the Pokémon video games with that of the Trading Card Game. Typhlosion's Flame Poké-Body is very good as it follows the exact same format as the games. 40/120 = 1/3, also known as 33%, as used in the games. Very good. However, the added effect of doing 20 damage more to the foe is a little overpowered, and it makes Typhlosion a bit too powerful. I mean, that means it does 90 damage, and although there is a 30 or 20 HP drawback, it pales in comparison to that of the attack.

So...work on that, and see if you can either eliminate the secondary effect of Blaze or lower the power of Flame Drive. Those are my two cents.

I could change Flame Drive to 60 and switch around the numbers in the attack's effect.

I could also change the card to a Pokémon-ex, but then I'd need to change the illustration to a 3D Typhlosion. EDIT: I do have a 3D illustration of a Typhlosion, be it of an aleady-existing card.
