Dry battery Solution 2

I used solution 2 for replacing the juice in my dry gold version battery and once I did it I found that the cloning glitch didn't work. I don't know if this is a one off or if it has happened to others, has anybody else had this problem?

Another thing is that you actually have to charge it for 200 hours to stop the battery from going flat again as soon as you turn your gameboy off.
