DS Lite Release Information [Europe]

Today NOE revealed the Nintendo DS Lite will hit Europe on the 23rd of June.
Ds Lite launches in White and Black for a retail price of £99.99 or 149.99 Euros.

Am I right in saying we haven’t seen a black DS Lite at all until now? Prior to today’s announcement the only colours were Polar White, Enamel Navy and Ice Blue. I'll probably get white, but black does look good too.

That's right, black was pretty much a hoax and unconfirmed... until now. If this is true it just backs up what I said since day one though, there will always be a black version. I love my navy one now though

I think I'll trade in my DS for a DS Lite, possibly an Ice Blue one.

White Lite looks so much better than the other colors in my opinion. That's a bit behind the US date but not too much.

The Lite does sound tempting, my DS is giving me wrist problems so I may trade it in. I think I'll go for a white one.

Also, for those of you in the UK, you can win a DS Lite (Polar White) with Miyamoto's signiture on it. (BTW, his signiture is pretty cool) Just go to www.game.net/ To win, you have to take a picture of yourself playing a DS in the most abscure place possibly just nothing stupid. Closing date is 21st June so you'd better be quick if you want a go.

Actually you can use any handheld console (so if you haven't got a DS now's the chance!)
Shame I don't know anyone who plays handhelds in weird ways.
