hi, this has really been bothering me, how much will i need to cover the tax for the DS Lite? (i'm in canada if that helps)

Well Tax in Texas is 8.25%

Tax is about $11 here on things that cost $129.99, so it all depends on your Tax rate. Find it out and do the multiplication and you have it.

When I did the Tax for you, I got a total of $162.

It cost me nothing.^^ I traded in my ds and 2 xbox360 games and got my lite.

7%: 150*1.07=$16.50 total
8%: 150*1.08=$162 total

no, i thought it was:

0.07x147=10.29
0.08x147=11.76
=22.05
=169.05

The walmart neer my house went an extra mile and lowered the price by $3

could you explane the upper in more detale please?

no, its not, i think i have enough tax now, i traded my dad a really old 1954 $20 for a new one(he wanted the old one) so now i have $170.20, but i might be off by a fewcents because i didn't see what the cents was on the price sticker, but i'm 99% sure i can get one after school today
