DS Wii Compatability

I have not read any articles about how this will be done, but ign's talk with the nintendo person of the week for one question said that they have a new way of compatability..
.i thought what if you played the ds on the wii like the GC gameplayer...could you use the wii controler somewhat as the DS stylus? just a thought, and one could play other people online on their tv screen, i don't know

please give any information that is known

Well I dont think anything has been confirmend yet,they might reveal this at the upcoming E3.Actually I think I saw somewhere that the legend of zelda on wii is planning for relations to the DS.I think I saw it,it could of been a dream after all

Well, I have also wondered this. Maybe it will be something like the GBA-GC connection, but without wires. I am guessing that you will have to go on to download play, but I am not sure.

As for what you were saying asbout the different features, I have also wondered this. Maybe if you were in a dungeon and you fell, you would fall into your DS? Or maybe if you were on an RPG of something, it could be used as your Jouirnal which you have next to you, rather than having to press start all of the time. Come to think of it, I like this idea.

I'm guessing that you'll be albe to download demos of DS games from your Wii and some games will link up for little bonuses. Eg:-

1) Link Metroid Prime 3 with Metroid Prime Hunters once you've Prime 3, you can play Hunters with Samus in different suits from Prime 3 but having no affect on game. Complete Hunters, and you can play Prime 3 with the other hunters from the Ds game.

2) Link Animal Crossing Wii and Animal Crossing: Wild World and you can get special Nitnendo themed items for each game.

3) Link SSB3 with SSBS (if it ever happens) and you can add the extra character from the DS version unavailible in the Wii version to SSB3.

4) Link Mario Kart Wii with Mario Kart DS to use R.O.B. on the Wii version.

5) Link Super Mario 64 DS with Super Mario Wii and you can play as Yoshi/Luigi/Wario.

You get the idea.

The best idea made up is transferring Virtual Console games to the DS.

You know, perhaps we can use them alongside with the controllers instead of using a controller attachment... like using the DS's dpad and microphone... or buttons since the controller doesn't make you favor either hand.

The DS-Wii is confirmed. When? That is how we know that ACWii is going to come out. That is how it was revealed. It will allow DS players to visit the ACWii town.
