What does it matter if one dub actor goes from a bigger role to a smaller one? Not every VA will 100% play important stuff (and even then, Archie is really not much to brag about)

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but when/if the writers make Ash older, I want him voiced by Bryce Papenbrook for the English dub. I’m sure he would do awesome for an adult Ash, meaning Ash would be at least 20 years old.
