Dub Voice Actor Guesses/Discussion

Something that’s always bothered me about Chloe’s dub voice actress is that she does the exact same voice level and range as Sarada in the Boruto series. Granted it isn’t easy to do so but you can tell people like Yuri Lowenthal tried to make Ben and Sasuke sound like their own characters. I don’t exactly watch Boruto in the dub but it’s glaring how she Sarada and Chloe sound exactly alike.

At least its not as bad as Misty sounding exactly like May, who are from the same anime.

Actually, that's more of a coincidence, because Cherami Leigh has a lot of range.

Then again, it simply will be inevitable that a voice actor will repeat the same range in some spots.

I'm familiar with her. Kazari, Chloe and Sarada sound exactly the same. Obviously there are some characters that are going to sound alike but she's currently voicing those two roles and it's like she's not even trying to make them sound different. Like I said you can very much tell Ben and Sasuke share a voice actor but he at least tries to make Ben sound more empathetic and Sasuke more brooding and intimidating. Not everybody can be a Tara Strong in terms of range but Sarada and Chloe sound exactly the same with no difference.

Ben from Ben 10? That's been a while ago now. Again, Chloe and Sarada sounding the same is just a coincidence.

And if we want to bring Yuri into this, Fire Emblem's Marth and Merrick don't sound so different in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Also the opening scene is changed so that the Rillaboom's just speak their regular Pokémon language. With Camille's VA being black (Amber May), I think it would have been a bit too bizarre and kinda racist seeing her cast like that, so good move on Lisa's part for not doing that.

Thank god, still a dumb premise for the episode and glad the dub didn't carry it forward and imply Goh's parents are Rillaboom for obvious reasons

I haven't used the Switch app yet but I assume it mostly likely has the same content as what's on the website. They've most recently hit the end of the Darkest Day arc and only have three more episodes of Journeys left before they start with Master Journeys.

Also speaking of Pokemon TV, I've noticed they've used Pichu's Smash Bros render for the new Junior section.
