I just don't get it.

Azure is a shade of blue. They just put an "ill" on it to sound more like a creature's name, like Marill. Not sure what marill is supposed to mean, maybe "marine".

Mime Jr. = J. Mime would've sounded better becasue it sounds like Jr. Mint.
