I need some help with my Dunsparce.

I've breed a Modest one with flawless Special Attack and I want this moveset.

Dunsparce (M) @ Leftovers/Lum Berry
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: None
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Water Pulse
- Rain Dance
- Headbutt

I need some help with the EV's.

Thanks. :3

Yes, he could need the speed. I'll try it out on Netbattle later.

Thank you again for the help. Does anybody else want to comment?

Missingo Master’s post was an overstatement. Thunderdancing takes too much set up and even then, Paralysis is not guaranteed.

Dunsparce (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Water Pulse
- Flamethrower/Fire Blast
- Headbutt

T-Wave for guaranteed paralysis and a Fire Attack for Steels. Fire Blast recommended, it’s a guaranteed 2KO on Skarmory.

Thunder>Thunderwave.... Damage plus 60% paralysis... Ill take that! What does he need a firemove for when Water and Electric are neutral to steel and Rain Dance can strengthen Water Pulse? 60/40/60% haxing is fun roll with it!

Well, I have to say I am impressed with this Pokemons' Moveset.
I havn't seen something this good in a long time.

Also, AragornBird, Thunder causes damage Plus over half chance of paralysis from Dunsparces ability.

And it will either have a 30% chance of missing or you’ll need to spend an entire turn to use Rain Dance. Neither are worth it, especially when you’ll only need to paralyze something once.

this is a good moveset:

blizzard
thunder
thunderbolt
fire blast

Dunsparce is slow so no Speed EVs needed. But since it's slow, it needs to survive the first attack. Dunsparce also has terrible DEF/SPDEF, so they are needed more than its SPATK.

Also you could try this set...

Sunny Day
Fire Blast/Flamethrower
Solarbeam
Endeavor/Rest

This set can't really make use of Serene Grace but it is more powerful. Sunny Day powers up Fire and also Solarbeam can be used without charge. When you are getting low on HP, Endeavor.

Endeavor is for fast Pokemon, not Dunsparce.
And really, the Rain Dancing set is much better than the Sunny Day.
