Duplication Trick Question Im thinking of trying

This thought occured to me as I was trading Masterballs from the USED Ruby Game I just bought (he had like 45 Masterballs and 300+ RareCandies BUT no shinies) onto my Emerald and LeafGreen.

You know how u use a memory card to save correct in C/XD? Well is it possible to Load from a Memory Card (A) and then put the game you are playing on another Memory Card (B). Basically Load MC A and then Swap/Save on MC B.

That would make cloning Pokemon Possibe becuz all you need is two memory cards. I think that way I can clone my Shinies (Kyogre, RegiRock, Alakazam, and Persian) and it would make me a lot more willing to trade my shinies.

I havent tried it though...anyone willing to? Just a thought and I apologise if this idea has already been brought up! ^^

Won't work. However, you could use "special devices" to allow the copying of Colosseum/XD saves from one card to another.

But how come u cant Load from Memory Card A, then take it out and Throw in a different Memory Card (which doesnt even have a Pokegame Saved) and Save it onto B? Wouldnt that work in the logical/practical sense?

The game checks the current save file every time you try to save. If the save file with the ID that matches the ID of the game currently being played cannot be found on the memory card, the game will fail to save.

i don't know why, it doesn't work. i think nintendo knew about this method of yours and so many other people so they made it impossible.

If you seriously want to duplicate Pokemon, use Colosseum:

WARNING! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST POKEMON!

Now, have the Pokemon that's going to disseapear being traded from Colo. Have the Pokemon you want to be cloned coming from R/S (You could try FR/LG/E, but I'm not sure of those). Trade, and when it is saving, turn it off a few seconds in to it. This should corrupt your GBA file, which loads a backup file of the Pokemon you had at your last save point. Colo should have the Pokemon you traded, essentially doubling Pokemon.

That is real. You just need to time it right.

I know that I once accidentally cloned my Alakazam, losing a Wailmer that I had. I'm not sure what happened, though. I think that the GCN-GBA cable came loose. It was no big deal, but now I always feel nervous when tading Pokémon to Pokémon Colosseum.

When I first heard of the cloning trick after my Alakazam incident, I thought of doing it to make more Rare Candies. Linoone and Phanpy work much better, though.

It actually does work for the GBA games as well, but it deletes a random Pokemon sometimes.

SO would the worst case scenario be something like this:
GBA trades a Lugia to Colosseum and Colosseum trades a wurmple to GBA. turns off GBA. Gba has a wurmple
