Duplication Trick !

If you want to duplicate Pokemon, use Colosseum:

Now, have the Pokemon that's going to disseapear being traded from Colo. Have the Pokemon you want to be cloned coming from R/S (You could try FR/LG/E, but I'm not sure of those). Trade, and when it is saving, turn it off a few seconds in to it. This should corrupt your GBA file, which loads a backup file of the Pokemon you had at your last save point. Colo should have the Pokemon you traded, essentially doubling Pokemon.

That is real. You just need to time it right.

So does anyone know if it stuffs up your game?

couldn't you just copy your gamecube file to another memory card, doubling your pokemon?

nope. nintendo was smart and prevented that.

All they have to do is tell the game to make sure that the save file of the game you are currently playing is on the memory card that you are trying to save to. If that exact file is not on the memory card, the game will not save.

I might try to do this, but would't the timing be similar to that of the G/S duplication trick? Turn the GB off when the last full stop appears in 'do not turn off the power'?

Does anyone (perhaps you have tried this yourself?) know the timing? I can assume you are switching the GBA off when the "saving...do not turn off the power or touch the memory card..." notice stops writing.

So, the traded pokemon from R/S/E/FR/LG would take the place of the pokemon traded from colo. and that one would be deleted?

Wooohooo!! Now i'm gonna trade my Deoxys to XD and
make thausands of 'em!! The only thing I need to do
is copy my file!!

He probably could if he had one of those cheaper memory cards or a flash card (I think that's what they're called. PSO players used it to backup their saves in case of FSOD).

Of course I did not!! I wanted to make clear that copy a pokemon Colo/XD file is a bad idea and thats why nintendo didn't used it. It's called sarcasm.But I do have a Deoxys!! I'm missing Mew, Celebi and Lugia!
So get a life youself! I did not lie!
