I have a quesiton is earthquake a special attack move or a regular attack move????

It's a physical move because the user doesn't directly touch the opponent... so it's just a normal attack move

Even in D/P it`s an attack move and in R/S/E it`s the type ground, so it is an Atk move.

It's a regular attack move, not a Special attack.

It's not a contact move, so you don't have to worry about being hit with stuff like Effect Spores or Static, though.

Earthquake is a physical attack(Attack),in DP there many changes to the Mechanics but Earthquake will remain physical.

I was fighting wishcash and I used earthquake then it used amnesia then a fullrestore thats when I used it again and it did less damage.....????

This thread is irritating. Nobody even mentioned that this, being 3rd gen, only works with the move types.
Earthquake is has a ground typing. Ground is physical. It has been physical since RBY.

It's pretty obvious that EQ is a physical move. Even if you couldn't look it up, it's common sense. =/ Get a girlfriend and a life? Get off your computer and go outside.

But yeah, EQ is physical, as many have stated.

yah earthquake is physical. for anyothers, just look at the move and think

does it hit them with solid matter or plasma?
rock/ground/steel/fighting/normal/ghost/bug/poison/flying all hit with solids, except ghost and poison
water/ice/lightning/fire/grass/psychic/dark/dragon/all use energy/ki/chi/chakra/mana or whatever
