Easy Trades

Ok it says that you can trade pokemon from R/S/E/FR/LG straight onto D/P right. so you would be able to trade pokemon back. so this way you could eliminate the process of using link cables and wireless adapters.

see you trade a pokemon onto D/P that you want in a certain game the take that game out and transfer it to the game you want it to right.and by doing so you eliminate the need for links and adapters.

thats what i think. discuss.

The DS can hold 2 games, gba and ds so transfering from gba to ds should be easy and from ds to ds you got wireless... Perhaps the old system back again but waaay faster :D

yeah transfer, hold in D/P, then transfer to another game.

Transfer to another game? Like pass a Caterpie from Emerald to D/P then transfer it to Ruby? I think you can't transfer any pokémon from D/P to the other versions.

so, what would happen if somebody mistakenly transfered they're pokemon to D/P without knowing this. Then they can never use those pokemon on their other games again. So much for replay value...

It should be just fine to send back to a gba pokemon game, provided all games meet the requirements (defeat E4, find the nat dex, etc...)

this is fine, its fine, FINE! \

Besides, with the WiFi capabilities, you could complete the dex in a few hours, if you have a big pokedex in another game.

Have a nice day!
Hopefully "Transferring" will be a lot faster than trading. At the moment, traders are incredibly slow and boring...

Brandon, I suggest you stop spamming up the Diamond/Pearl forum or you will be banned.

Then why stop him?

If it is transferring pokemon between games, then completing the pokedex will be much faster, and you wouldn't need a link or anything.

The Colosseum/XD model makes for a good arrangement when it comes to how this will be handled. The only difference here is that the GBA slot is built into the DS itself.

Why wouldn't it use the GBA slot and the DS card slot to achieve this effect? It's the most logical way of going about it, and while it's important for Nintendo to earn money, the disadvantages of forcing people to buy 2 DSes would far outweigh any monetary benefits Nintendo would get - it's not worth burning over customers and looking like capitalist pigs even though you are nothing but that. ;)

Seriously, though, using the two slots on one unit is the most logical manner of doing this.
