Okay, I'm getting the Movie on DVD (Thanks to the Marvel we call eBay!) and I was wondering, do you need to have seen all of the Anime to watch The movie? I've seen 1-39 of the Anime and I'm worried that I won't understand it or It'll give me spoilers. Please help!
Of course you need to see the entire series. Or else you'll be confused and spoiled beyond belief.

yes, in fact, the final episode of the series pretty much sets up for the movie.

Good job buying the bootleg copy, by the way. The release of the actual movie is on the 25th (a Wednesday) in Japan. Chances are the movie you're looking at is region free and has English/Chinese subs.

Official Japanese DVD is Region 2 and has no subtitles unless you get the Limited Edition copy which includes English subs.

After months of waiting, the movie finally appeared on Ebay. I brought it the other day and yeah, you really do have to see all the episodes.

It appeared on eBay after the movie aired on Japanese TV before the DVD release. :p That's where the bootleg DVDs are coming from; recordings of the movie from TV.

Again, STOP IT. You're not allowed to discuss giving out locations to places that allow you to watch full episodes and movies illegally.

Thank you for not supporting the company that brought you your favorite show and made it available uncut and bilingual.

Wow, are you an idiot. English dub may suck, but there's also the Japanese dub with perfect subtitling (and Spanish dub in the Ultimate Uncut Edition DVDs). Yes, the video is not as good as the Japanese ones, but that's not FUNimation's fault. Toei did not provide them the cleaned up video.

Downloading them is the lamest excuse I've heard. If you're downloading Japanese episodes, chances are they're from old bootleg VHS recordings when it was on TV. And the quality on those went really bad. If you're watching TV rips of the English version, the video is THE SAME THING as the DVDs. The Japanese DVDs are readily available for importing. There's no excuse for not getting those instead of the FUNimation ones.

Cuz I was trying to get the Dragon Box but I'm not rich enough. And I'm too cheap to buy FUNi DVD's again.

Single DVDs are being sold. You know this since you posted in my thread discussing the releases. You have no excuses. Now stop throwing this thread off-topic.
