Well look on the site and it has a list of egg moves a pokemon can learn. Only moves on the male pokemon can be passed down. Also tm moves are passed down

if the father knows the move that it can learn as an EM, then it can learn it. if a pokemon is capable of leartning a certain tm and or hm, that will also be passed down

Here's the Breeding sticky:

http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=92338

It explains how to breed moves, and gives a list of all Pokemon's Egg Moves and a suggestion on how to breed it on. Each Pokemon has a set list of Egg Moves it can learn, so it isn't random, and a Pokemon can't learn just any move through breeding.

If you still have breeding-related questions please post them in there. Thanks!
