Egg Question

I didn't find this anywhere on the main site, so I decided just to come out and ask.

First of all, can you trade eggs? Because I'm making a team for my Emerald version, and I just caught males and females of every pokemon I want. I just want to know if I can trade the eggs, or if I have to hatch them out before I can trade them.

Second of all, if I CAN trade eggs, would the whole bonus experience thing still apply once they're hatched? Or will they obey me but still get regular experience as though I had caught them myself?

1.) i dont know im not a pro breeder so i wouldent know
2.) proboley, i mean the thing is only level five so it would proboley obey you and level up as if it wasnt a traded pokemon.

2.it would act as if it was your own and not traded at all.

disclaimer: on emerald/FR/LG, you need to get the national dex before you can be traded an egg, and on colo/XD, you have to beat cipher's boss before trading anything, and you can never trade eggs.

Wait... so you mean, if I want to trade my eggs from Sapphire to Emerald I have to get the national dex?

That kinda blows... or am I misunderstanding?

yes. i tried trading a CM/TB/psychic ralts egg to my emerald game to get through it faster without running the risk of it disobeying me, but it said "that pokemon can't be traded now" or something like it. you can trade already-hatched ones, though, as long as they're in the hoenn dex. other than that, you've got to beat the E4 first.
