Steve Aoki used to be better IMO. I like his album Wonderland but now he's just another commercial DJ. Most of his productions nowadays are big-room **** and way below the standards he set for himself.

Does Eurodance count as EDM, or is moe under the dance pop umbrella? Not sure about this, but it is definitely one of my favourite genres, especially its cutesy subcategory of bubblegum dance - you know, groups like Aqua and Smile.dk.

Otherwise, my tastes in EDM are rather varied, although I can say that I don't like house or dubstep, not that into downtempo either (I prefer my techno to be more upbeat). Ah what the heck, I'll just post a list of songs that offer a scope of what I like in this genre:

Discotronic - Tricky Disco - The name is misleading; it's straight-up techno.

Ace Toshimi - Power to the Groove - More techno, except this sounds more happy harcore-ish.

Ma Radscha - Cuckoo 4 Your Luv - Pretty typical Eurodance.

Lazytown - You are a Pirate - Bubblegum dance for kids.

Schnuffel - Haschenparty - Germany's version of the Hampsterdance, apparently.

Kevin & Cherry - Chemical Love - An example of Eurobeat, a fast and upbeat dance style to accompany Japanese Para-Para dancing.

Deadmau5 - Moar Ghosts 'N Stuff - I'm not quite sure how to describe this one, except it starts out a bit on the creepy side.

Lindsey Stirling - Moon Trance - Delightfully creepy and upbeat with some small dubstep elements, thankfully less than some of her other songs.

Nightcore - Rainbow - Nightcore is interesting: speeding up various EDM songs to get some awesome speedy dance songs.

T-Spoon - Smiling - This techno-y song really captures the vibe of the ideal rave.

Say, I like this thread. I'll definitely be coming here more often for new jams. My favorite electronic genre is trance. Hands down. OceanLab, 4 Strings, Lasgo, you know the classics. My favorite artist of all time is Paul van Dyk, although he's more electronic than trance. But I pretty much like the entire electronica family, hardcore rave, techno, club.

Anyway, I recently found some pretty neat jams, all by this DJ S3RL. I prefer his fast beat techno with a kinda anime feel to it. Check him out.
Oh and also check out Nu Foundation. Good Stuff.

I really like Tobu and Itro, as well as Anselm Japan, even though you could maybe say they are not always electronic, but I still want actual instruments to exist, just not synthesisers and remixers.

I'm not a fan of dubstep but I do like some electronic music. Has anyone ever heard of FKA twigs?

Sorry for replying to an old post, but FKA Twigs is fantastic. I really enjoyed her last EP, Melissa, and I love her strange style and voice. She reminds me of Björk, tbh. I can't wait to see what she comes up with in the future.
