Is there a way you can help me beat the champion (RED) my Rival? I saved right before I battled him and I only have my level 62 Blastoise. It's moves are Blizzard, Surf, Skull Bash and Bite. I always end up at the last Pokémon (Arcanine) and I only have a little HP left. So I'm thinking "I usually strike first, so I use Surf and I win!" but no... every time he uses Extremespeed so he strikes first and kills me. I need help. What do you reccomend I do? Oh, and I don't feel like restarting the WHOLE ELite League again so I need suggestions on what moves I should use. I can easily beat his Venusaur (Blizzard), his Pidgeot (Surf), his Alakazam (Surf), his Rydon (Surf), but I usually have trouble defeating his Garyados (sp?). And obviously his Arcanine.... So yeah.

Thanks in advance! :)

Are you only using Blastoise? At level 62 you should have no problem taking out all of his POKéMON. Are you using any Full Restores? They are very helpful. Any electric attack should easily take out Gyarados (x4 weakness).

His attacks are listed above. And I already taught "Thunder" to my Jolteon... but he's dead... I told above that I only have my Blastoise left.

I bought 10 full restores but now I only have one. And I usually use it after Alakazam. Then Gyarados just gets me back to red HP...

Well, then I'm afraid all you can do is keep on keepin' on. You'll get it eventually. There isn't terrible much we can say to help you, just keep on trying. I know you're frustrated, but what's with the attitude? =)

Sorry about my mood today... frustraded, I guess. It's just, I really want to be able to go to four island and such... and I want to get the National Dex and the gems. So I can trade with my Sapphire...

I was also thinking of Making a new team (but keeping my Kangaskhan, Jolteon and my Blastoise) :) Wich Pokémon should you reccomend?

Do you by chance have any Revives or Rare Candies on you?

I've you have a Revive (which I am doubting you do) use it. If you have a Rare Candy give it to Jolteon. He will grow a level and gain 2-3 HP and be alive (not fainted) anymore. Then just give him the Full Restore.

Since this most likely is not the case I'm not sure what to tell you.
Gyarados is Water/Flying so he will resist Surf but BLizzard (though not Super Effective) should cause the most ammount of damage if it hits. I would rather you use Ice Beam as it is much more dependable.

Otherwise there isn't much to really tell you except good luck and pack some more Revives next time.

I'd recommend picking the ones you like the most. Don't go for the strongest, just for the sake of it. Pick the ones you like the most, and to hell with people who think otherwise. Pick your favourites! =)

Alright!... Hmm... Chancy Perhaps? But the problemo is it's supre rare... I need a grass type, but I don't really like grass types. Oh, and I need a flying type... Pidgeot?...

For Grass types you could go with Exegutor (Grass/Psychic), Bellosom (Grass), Sceptile (Grass), ect...

Flying I would go with a Dragonite not only because he is cool looking but also has good stats and an incredible movepool.

Chansey is a great choice and only gets better when it evolves into a Blissey.

BTW, how did you end up fairing against the E4? To tell the truth I'm a tad curious.

How 'bout trading to get a strong Chancey, Charizard and Venasaur. Charizard and Venasaur lv.40-60 should do if you us an elemental heperbeam. That shoud cue your problem. A subsitute for Chancy is pidgeot. Or you could use a legendary bird and win.

The "elemental Hyper Beams" aren't useful.
150 Attack power and then you have to rest resulting in 75 attack power for 2 turns.
Compare that to 95 attack power that can be used each turn and you see a 40 attack difference.

Don't compare Pigeot to Chansey at all. Chansey is actually good and specializes in HP, and SpDef which is only made better by it's evolution to Blissey (around 700 HP).
Pigeot on the other hand specializes in nothing and gets evershadowed by Aerodactyl. I wouldn't use Pigeot unless you like him in which case who cares what I have to say.

I should do the following:
Let Gary defeat you.
Go defeat trainers to train your pokémon and get a lot of money
Buy items that will help, like full restore and revive. I reccomend against buying full restores only! Hyper Potions are much more usefull in certain situations.
Try defeating Gary again.
If this does'nt work, try the following:
Go catch some legendary birds to defeat the elite four.
