Emerald Berry Glitch

I had been playing my Pokemon Emerald for 159 hours when a the Starf berry I had just obtained from the Battle Frontier stomped growing half way through plus all my other daily events have stopped too (e.g. battling secret base trainers obtaining berries from the Berry Master).

Has anyone else experience this problem?

By the way the berry fix program supplied with Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen doesn't fix it.

i bought my game just before xmas last year and its already dead...but then again, my game was 2nd hand!

you can give your game to nintendo to replace the battery, or you can do it yourself.

The game isn't telling me that the battery has run dry. This was a brand new game!

I hate to ask this, but is there any way you could be mistaken?

Starf Berries take a long time to grow, and IIRC "daily" events only happen every 24 hours exactly, so if you battled a Secret Base trainer at 9 PM you won't be able to battle him again until 9 PM the next day.

I could be wrong about this, though.

Nope. SB battles are within the 24hr period of the clock from midnight to midnight. you can battle someone at 23:30 and rebattle half an hour later.

I know Starf berries take a long time I had already grown two from my original one. It was while growing these two that they stopped growing. That was about 10 days ago now

my game doesnt say that my internall battery has run dry but i know it has because my clock stays 5:15pm, berrys dont grow and the tide doesnt come in, in shoal cave.

I have discovered that my berries haven't been growing since I spoke to the quiz lady in Lilycove City Pokemon Centre. I have also created my own quiz and she says she is waiting for someone to do it. Maybe if I could mix records it would fix my berry glitch. Can anyone confirm this?
