Emerald Berry Glitch

In Emerald I completed the Quiz Ladys (in Lilycove City Pokemon Center) Quiz and ever since my berries have stopped growing plus my daily events like people giving me berries have stopped happening. The Quiz Lady asked me if I wanted to create my own quiz, so hoping to get my berries growing againg I created my own quiz. But now she keeps saying that she is waiting for some one to do my quiz, i.e. I need to mix records.
Can someone tell me that if I mix records will my berries start growing again or do I need to send my game off to Nintendo?

The infanous berry glitch in Ruby and Sapphire seems to be in Emerald as well. There are a few methods to fix it

-Get Jirachi from the bonus disk (No longer avalable)
-connect to Fire Red/Leaf Green
-Connect to Pokemon Colloseum (not sure about XD)

supposedly those methods don't work with emerald as the glitch in emerald is usually that the internal battery has run dry. If that is the case, you can either replace the battery yourself (i highly do not recomend) or you can send it to nintendo to replace the battery.
I suggest gathering as much info as you can from your game and contacting nintendo about it. It's a lot better than asking a bunch of people that may or may not know around here, and if you send it off to nintendo, they could always test it and pinpoint the problem.

If it's the internal battery, wouldn't it affect the entire save file?

The internal battery running dry will give that message when you start the game-- "The internal battery has run dry, time-based events will no longer occur."

This affects ONLY the game clock, nothing else, just like the Berry Glitch does.

There isn't supposed to be a Berry Glitch in Emerald, and since the Glitch Fix from the Bonus Disc, FR/LG, etc is for the R/S Berry Glitch, those methods don't work with Emerald.

Your best bet would be to contact Nintendo about the problem.

Its the Quiz Lady

Its the Quiz Lady that is causeing the glitch everthing else is working fine (daytime/nightime evolution clock in bedroom). I have proved this by loading a saved file from before doing her quiz. I then did her quiz again and hey presto the berries stopped growing.

All Im asking is can anyone confirm this for themselves and does mixing record fix the problem?

The quiz lady is not the problem,and you cant fix it by mixing records.

Ohhh.. So that's what happened to my game. My Sapphire did that for a while, but it stopped on it's own. Is that typical? xD

There is no berry glitch ,the internal battery has run dry.

Y won't anyone listen!

If you do the quiz lady's quiz in Lilycove Pokemon Center your berries stop growing.
I think this is because she is waiting for you to make your own quiz and for someone to do yours (by mixing records)
I don't know anyone else with Emerald to prove this thats why I'm asking you guys for help

I did the quiz in my Emerald and the days are still passing,an the berries are still growing.
