Emerald Gyms?

After you beat Steven Stone in Meteor Falls, I expected the Gyms to reopen their doors. So I went to the Terra Cave and Marine Cave and caught ;383; and ;382;. Still no Gyms. How and when do the Gyms reopen?

i know, you have to beat the elite four and then in your match call there will be a little symbol next to the gym leaders that want to battle, you can battle them various times as long as each time hey have the symbol next to their name

you have to keep battleing trainers, i think the trainers in the battle frontier work too.

I already beat the Elite Four. No symbol.

I wish they'd make VS Seeker compatible with Gym Leaders someday...

Anyway, you just have to wait patiently...take your time...like I did, and soon the Gym Leaders will want a rematch. I've already battled Roxanne, Norman and Juan.

Rebattling Gyms are completely random

Yup, they are completely random. I say go EV train a pokemon and by that time one should be ready. I've already battled Roxanne,Winona and Tate and Liza.

When I still had my file on Emerald, I battled all but Roxanne again, and she never asked for a re-match, so it's completely random.

Just walk around, battle random trainers, switch routes a lot...and you'll get a rematch soon enough.

The Battle Frontier is a good place, after i win there, a gym leader always wants a remach.
