Emerald In Game Team

Thom

Beginning Trainer
Hello guys & gals, been building up 4 different teams, just wondering what mix and matches you guys would advise with my teams, if there could be a better choice? Im not "REALLY" considering changing moves, as I have used quite a few TMs, and only play it casually i.e- I dont have another gameboy to swap the existing pokemon over to. Just enjoy building up pokemon from time to time. I dont even take into consideration EVs, too much hassle, but i will post the stats as I dont know what the evs have been built up with. I dont mind insults, I'm quite noob, some of my movesets may be so atrociously bad, it will give some of you a giggle ;-)

Anyhoos, here goes, since starting, I have been building up:

TEAM 1:

Manetric ;310; Lv.80
Item: Magnet (until I can afford shell bell/leftovers)
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Static

Thunderbolt (got fed up with thunder)
Return (not bad, good to have instead of a sp atk)
Charge (does this actually work, or is it worth thunder waving it, or even something else?)
Double Team (hit or miss, going to keep this move probably)

Aggron ;306; Lv.80
Item: Shell Bell
Nature: Naughty
Ability: Sturdy

Iron Tail
Earthquake (not great, wished I kept rock slide to be honest)
Double Edge (i'm finding again, proving a bit to injury prone)
Iron Defense

Houndoom ;229; Lv.80
Item: Charcoal (Until SB/LO)
Nature: Relaxed
Abillity: Early Bird

Flamethrower
Crunch
Odor Sleuth
Roar

Heracross ;214; Lv.80
Item: SB
Nature: Careful
Ability: Guts

Megahorn
Bulk Up
Brick Break
Endure

Flygon ;330; Lv.79
Item:Lax Incense
Nature:Mild
Ability: Levitate

Dragon Claw
Fire Blast
Fly
Screech (pre fly attack mainly)

Swampert ;260; Lv.79
Item:Mystic Water (Until SB/LO)
Nature: Hasty
Ability:Torrent

Surf
Earthquake
Blizzard
Protect

TEAM 2:

Sableye ;302; lv.50
Item: Black Glasses
Nature: Docile
Ability: Keen Eye

Fake Out
Shadow Ball
Secret Power
Mean Look (one day I will catch those dragons, cant for the life of me think of their names, the two, red and blue ones... ONE DAY!)

Claydol ;344; Lv.50
Item: Soft Sand
Nature:Docile
Ability: Levitate

Psybeam
Cosmic Power
Return
AncientPower

Skarmory ;227; Lv.50

Camerupt ;323; Lv.50
Item: Amulet Coin (KERCHING)
Nature: Serious
Ability: Magma Armour

Overheat
Eruption (OK 2 fire moves, I know, punish me, what a mistake, I was a noob when I did this, wait, I STILL AM!)
Earthquake
Rock Slide

Golduck ;055; Lv.50

Nature: Naive
Ability: Cloud Nine

Ice Beam

:)

SwordofAeons

Degeneration X
Houndoom-w/e
Timid/Modest
Flamethrower
Crunch
Will-o-Wisp
Sub/Beatup/filler

Skarmory-Leftovers
Impish
Drill Peck
Spikes
Rest
Roar

Flygon:
-EQ
-Rock Slide/Iron Tail (RS is better...)
-Fire Blast/Return/Quick Attack
-Screech

Fly wastes a turn. :/ The only Sp.Attack your Flygon should have is Fire Blast. Screech, then use physical attacks. EQ for STAB.

Claydol:
-EQ
-Ice Beam/Psychic
-Cosmic Power/Light Screen/Reflect
-Rest/Explosion

Psychic > Psybeam. Ancient Power is kinda weak here. Ice Beam is for getting Grass or Flying types (or whomever. :/)... but Psychic is fine ingame.

If you don't want to rebreed Manectric for Crunch instead of Return, you could always teach it Bite intead. :/ (and DT sucks. Really.)

Frost Nova

The predator awaits.
I'll do the ones they missed out.

Golduck@lefties
Timid / Hasty Nature
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Psychic / Cross Chop

Golduck CAN'T learn Psychic via TM, so you have to breed it. Same case for Cross Chop.

Camerupt@Choice Band
Adamant / Lonely Nature
- EQ
- RS
- Overheat / Fire Blast / Flamethrower
- Explosion

Yes, Camerupt CAN learn Explosion. *exploding camels are fun* Overheat / Fire Blast for Adamant and Flamethrower for Lonely.

Manectric@Petaya Berry
Modest Nature
- T-Bolt
- Crunch
- Sub
- HP [Ice / Grass]

When using this set, make sure your total HP is divisible by 4 so Petaya activates exactly after 3 subs. Hard to use, but huge payoffs.

Aggron@lefties
Adamant / Brave Nature
- Sub
- Focus Punch
- RS
- T-Wave / EQ

SubPuncher. Aggron needs to be really slow in order to SubPunch effectively.

Heracross@lefties / Shell Bell
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Brick Break / Focus Punch (if you're good at predicting)
- RS
- Megahorn

Ability: Guts

Heracross@Salac Berry
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Endure
- Reversal
- Megahorn

Ability: Swarm

Take your pick. Both are just as effective.

Swampert@lefties
Relaxed Nature
- Curse
- Rest
- EQ
- Surf / Hydro Pump / Ice Beam / RS

Cursepert.

Swampert@lefties
Relaxed Nature
- EQ
- Surf / Hydro Pump
- Rest / Protect
- Ice Beam

Mixpert. Easier to get ingame.

Hi guys, I have a question about tyranitar.
I want to put him in my team, but I am not sure wich EV's I should give him.

I want him to get the following moveset:

-earthquake
-flamethrower (maybe icebeam)
-rockslide
-crunch

Do you guys have an advise for me? Should I put all the EV's in attack and special attack? And where should I put the rest of the EV's?

Go with either Attack or Special Attack. Boah OWNS in game so give it crunch/tbolt/Focus Punch/Sub... Give it full HP, 170 sp attck and the rest in speed.

EDIT- Get your own thread >_>
