Emerald: Match Call

Okay, is it just me or do the trainers NEVER call you for a rematch? They just call to "chat". In the instruction booklet that comes with your game, it says that a little mark appears next to their naem when they want a rematch. Well, some of those trainers have been registered for a long time, and still no battle call/mark next to their name. What's wrong?

if you want to re-battle someone, enter/leave their route over and over again. eventually, this will cause them to have the re-challenge mark next to their name.

this doesn't work for gym leaders.

It worked? I've done that many times...it works for me only in Ruby/Sapphire...

i always notice that the trainers on routes 117/118 want to re-battle me after i do a lot of breeding, even on emerald. it works that way on all the games.

I notice that when i get to Mawville, the trainers there (or routes)never go for a rematch till i get to like Flannery IIR

They seem to challenge you more often when you do stuff like beat Gym Leaders more or make chains at the Battle Frontier. That works for me.

Hmm the more I battle at Battle Frontier the more I get Battle Calls.
Though when I finish some Battle Tower (Arena or Dome etc.) I get some challenge from Gym Leader or Regular Trainer.

the entering and reentering a route thing works because i always thought the people in routes 117 and 118 must have a higher rate of rebattling but it is because im always there for breeding ;123;

Oh, so if I just beat Flannery maybe people will call me...they call me all the time but just to say random things and hang up...and when I'm on my Mach Bike it's really annoying because I was going full speed and I get stopped, and then I have to get going again...x.x

I find that the trainers near Lilycove always want a rematch, Just be pateint is my advice.

you amaze me.
Usually they don't call for a rematch, some might, but not too often. They really just call to tell you things that they've recently done. Such as battles, seeing wild pokemon and so on. If you go to the Pokenav and click Match Call, if you see a square pokeball looking thing, that means that they want a rematch.

I know, they get so annoying sometimes...and some don't even call me at all! It's so stupid. That's how Emerald is hard...you can't just battle the same people again and again...in R/S you could go in and out of routes and battle people to get money/exp. In Emerald...well, I need to sell stuff/advance a lot more int eh game to get a decent amount of money...it stinks. They never want to battle...I always thought that it was stupid anyway...but I was just wondering if others had the same problem with their Emerald game.

Sometimes trainers will call to congraduat you do doing stuff in the battle frontier.I've got over 50 calls like that. Now nobody wants to battle only my friends on route 117.

Oh, I'm not up to the Battle Frontier yet...oh, if you come back here...this is off-topic, but no one is answering me:

How many hours does the dry battery in your game normally last?

How do you get the berry glitch and what is it? (I know there is an explaination on the site)

How many recharges does a Gameboy SP have?

If no one knows...I need to ask more people! lol

I believe you have to beat norman for trainers to start wanting to battle you. Also, I find that even though the pokenav might not say it, some trainers will battle you if you talk to them.

Yeah, just enter/leave the route constantly. The only trainer who NEVER wants to battle me is Steven. His level 70's would have been VERY useful for training, too! :(

I do that when I breed. lol But in Emerald I rarely breed, but I love my Volbeat army! GO VOLBEATS!!! You WILL be the best! lol

Hm number 1:
Well it depends on how long you charge it.If you charge tell the charger is full it can last from 2-4 days

number 2:
I don't know much about the berry Glitch or what it even is.sorry.

number 3:
It's not the Game Boy.It's the charger.I had a charger that charger so much that it stoped.I though I broke my GBA well I put in my other charger and it worked again.I've got 3 chargers and 2 work.
