I restarted my Emerald and I have so far
Mudkip, Taillow, Shroomish, and the Stone Badge.
I have done some thinking on what I want it to be like. Here is what i think:

Those hold items are essentially useless...I'd go for leftovers, shell bell, scope lens (if available), brightpowder, etc over those..

Swampert - Rest for the last spot perhaps. Return/Brick Break/RS/etc for the 1st spot.

Swellow - Aerial Ace over Wing Attack. Return over Facade (so you don't have to depend on getting a status to get power..)

Breloom - Spore over Thunderpunch (it's Sp.Attack is sad..) Maybe Focus Punch over Bulk Up (Spore+Punch)

Magcargo - I'd try for Flame Body. Maybe give it Yawn? It's movepool and stats just don't mesh very well (higher sp.attack, low attack, very few special moves, plenty of physical moves...)

Go for the items Pika suggested. Just for the record, T-punch is for flyers. Yawn should do fine on Maggy.

T-punch appears to be useful for Flying types, but Breloom's Attack is over double its Sp.Attack... So a Super-Effective T-Punch will do less than a neutrally effective, STAB'd Sky Uppercut. If you go for Spore+Focus Punch though, you get over double the base power, over double the base stat, and STAB. That would even do almost as much damage as a T-punch to a Gyarados/Mantine...
T-punch: 65 * (4 for weakness) = 260
vs.
Focus Punch: 150 * (~2 for high attack stat) * (1.5 for STAB) / (2 for Resistance) = ~225

If you can get an Adamant Shroomish, it'd be even better.

Edit: Oops..T-punch has base power 75 not 65... so T-punch would be considerably better against two pokemon...lol

I guess the main thing is what other pokemon Konion Champ plans on having on the team.

If there's going to be an Electric/good T-bolter on the team, then I say forget T-punch on Breloom...if not....then I guess its up to you..(although I still say Focus Punch > T-punch for Breloom)

Tanx for the help evryone! I don't have the patience to get Shroomish to gain levels without evolving so I'm screwing the Spore+Focus Punch combo.

Anyway I liked all the other advice. I'll use it to make a kick *** team!:D

You could try breeding Spore onto Shroomish if you have anyone with Spore in any other game...but like US said, Breloom isn't Breloom without Spore. (A little patience goes a long way in this case)
