I have had this team in mind fo a while and have finally started putting it together. I just wanted some advice on what to improve on and some help with what I haven't figured out yet. Here's my team:

I was going to have Typhlosian here but I can’t get it in the emerald version. If someone could help me with which substitute I should use that would be great. I have 3 ideas:

Sludge Bomb
Meteor Mash

Ice Beam

1) crunch + leech seed is illegal
2) the flygon isn't 'good' it is horrible

earthquake/rock slide/quick attack/fire blast @ choice band, please

3) sharpedo doesn't learn shadow ball

Thank you blackemerald, but I just thought, how do I get enough earthquake tms? So I'll use substitute/leech seed on Sceptile, give Shiftry brick break but why explosion? Keep Flygon how it is, put metagross in as a replacement, and add earthquake to sharpedo. But what should I replace for rockslide on salamence, what should sharpedo's last attack be and what about the EVs?

Earthquake tms are obtainable through a high level pokemon with pickup I believe. Rock Slide over Dragon Claw. HP Flying if you can get its power higher than 60 over Aerial Ace for mence.
