I looked around on AOD's forums for some information. And first of all, this is not Funimation's fault. They are distributing the series. Blame 4Kids, because according to what I read, 4Kids is not giving Funimation anymore to release.
"4Kids is trying to move away from video releases of TV shows. It's been hinted at that since they're used simply as vehicles to push much better selling merchandise, they'd rather have it available for free rather than selling it."
I don't know it that is true or not, but it would make some sense.
AOD's Upcoming Releases list located here dosen't show any YGO releases in the near future. I know the list goes up to 2012, but a lot of those are errors or shows that have since been pulled after solicitation was announced such as Hoop Days or Shaman King. In any case even the old YGO Uncut discs that never got released are no longer on the list. My best guess is to periodicly check the R1 forum or the main AOD page to see if Funi has announced a solicitation list. Other than that i don't really know what else to suggest. I know it can suck waiting in mid release limbo for a show you like, but as i said, just check the site peridoicly and if Funi is gonna rleease something it'll be solicited.

The lack of the uncut version has a simple answer. Fans protested and screamed for uncut versions. But when they came.. no one bought them. Well, I know some people did, but it didn't justify the sales. So they had to stop making them. If fans bought more, then it most likely would have continued.
Quotes from emails from a freind. I really don't know how much of this is fact or not, but it's at least worth discussion. Plus it's the only plausible reason for the Uncut DVDs being cancelled beyone '4Kids is cheap'.
Anyone have some information to back this up, or preferablly, disprove it?
