Entei how do you use him? Special or Attack Sweeper

Just wondering how people are using Entei in Collosseum. Mine is a Calm nature so I think I am going to make mine a special sweeper. He has a decent move set with fire with flameflower, fire blast and calm mind but basically just fire and some lam moves like fire spin and stomp. He has alot of attack overall but no moves to learn and no earthquake to teach as he can't learn it correct me if I am wrong and iron tail is only 75 chance to hit and I don't like those odds.

Also is it just me or are the collosseum dogs alot weaker then they were back in the day G/S. My raikou at lvl 100 only has 256 special attack and thats his highest state he is pure garbage.

Anyway how do you use your Entei and what move set would you teach him?

Flamethrower
Bite
Calm Mind
Stomp or Hidden Power or Hyper Beam

Maybe he would go good with double edge? Anyway how do you use your entei and has he turned out any good?

i guess i could answer your question. Not sure what to use a phisical would be good for its atk but it is a fire type so not sure again

I used mine as a special sweeper since he gets STAB off fire moves and learns calm mind to boost his special stats. I think his attack is higher though, but oh well...

The only two decent Entei sets. Entei is a really cool Pokemon, but it has a crappy movepool and stats. It needs to get Earthquake.

Anyways, in response to the thread topic: The only two 3rd Gen Enteis I have are Gentle and Bold, so I won't be using Entei any time soon.

I just plainly not use it at all. I'm not too fond about legendaries. But all I taught it was Flamethrower, Sunny Day, Solarbeam, and Calm Mind.

I've got a Lonely Entei and have no idea what to do with it. He's sitting in my box, waiting to be traded to my LG. He'll probably have a mixed set because of his nature. We'll see what his HP is too.

Jon Sly: My Raikou has around 300 Sp.Atk. But He's Modest and EV trained.

It seems everyones Entei is either screwed on just plain sucks lol. I have come to the conclusion the legendary dogs just arn't that good. Just trained my Suicine to lvl100 and its not that great its highest state is 287 special defense thats not ev trainned however as I ev trained in hp and special attack but you would think it would hit at least 300-310 for a suicine oh well. My new raikou at lvl 40 only has 105 special eww I don't even want to raise another bad raikou.
