Okay, I know this is a bit early, but seeing how this is up next and set to air on the 20th July, 2006, I thought this would be an appropriate time to post a thread for this Episode.

Their was no preview, (the pic on the main site is just Perap placed on a background) as they are showing the 8th movie next week (we may get a preview next friday), but here is a summary from a magazine courtesy of Dogasu:

Perap and the Pokemon Comedian
While on their journey to the Battle Pyramid, Satoshi and his friends come across a girl named Anri who is chasing after the musical note pokemon, Perap. Anri's dream is to become a funny entertainer, and she thinks that if she trains the Perap, she'll be able to win an upcoming Comedian Contest. However, when she upsets the essential Perap, it flies away somewhere...

Get ready for untranslatable japanese puns!

Interesting plot, sounds like it is going to be comedic episode. Probably not going to happen but I hope that if they are going to try and get the Perap back, Ash and co. would have to resort to wearing costumes (kinda like the Claydol episode and such...).

At least the summary shoots down the, "Ash is going to catch Perapp and release Swellow!" nutcases.

We all know little filler girl will get the Pokemon and put on a lovely stage show, let's just hope it's entertaining of a filler.

A tipical filler (Anri will probably MORE a tipical "victim" of Brock's act), except for perapp.Nothing too interesting.I will still wait for the next battle piramyd episode.

Well if it is the only flying type that is numbered close to the starters then yes.

Well, he probably wont get THIS Perap, but I do see him getting one early on in Shinou. He always needs a flying type and always catches one fairly quickly. For Kanto, it was Pidgeotto, for Johto, Noctowl, and for Hoenn, Tailow. I see Perap as the next flyer for Ash. He will probably find an injured one, save it, and the thing will follow him.

This better be interesting. Hopefully it will have them fighting Perap in battle.

Well, he probably wont get THIS Perap, but I do see him getting one early on in Shinou. He always needs a flying type and always catches one fairly quickly. A thought just occured though. What if this pokemon has the ability to speak, like Meowth. Parrots mimic, but maybe the writers could pass this off as a gimmick or advertisement.

I think it could use flying moves as it is a pure flying type. It most likly does have an evolution. It will probably be similar to Tailow and wouldnt it be hilarious if Ash caught a talking Pokemon? I mean, that could open the door to all kinds of hilarious antics.

I forgot it was a pure flying type. Maybe he could teach it Sky Attack like how he taught Swellow Aerial Ace. Ok, I'm off topic...

I don't see this Pokemon speaking like Meowth, but I've been wrong before =]
Reasons why I don't see that is becuase Meowth tought himself how to talk and has been the only Pokemon to be able to talk, but like I said before I've been wrong before.

Not like Meowth exactly, but maybe a mimicer. It probably will be able to talk fairly well but will probably just mimic.
