Errata: Blastoise ex, Articuno ex

Pokémon USA has said that Blastoise ex's Hyper Whirlpool and Articuno ex's Cold Crush contain errata. Originally, the opposing player was to select the Energy cards to discard. Now, however, POP has ruled that the person using the attack must be the one who decides which Energy cards the opponent must discard.

Do you think this is fair, or does it give people an unfair advantage?

Okay, just to make things clear--

POP didn't just up and decide to change the cards, the cards were translated wrong. On the original Japanese cards, you choose the card to discard, not your opponent. They needed to errata these cards before Worlds because everyone else is playing them that way.
