Error in Colosseum!

The part where you fight Cail where Nett tells you hes saw a trainer with a shadow pokemon,when you battle Cail he has lvl 53 but after you battle him,you battle him again he has lvl 40?!

every time you battle cail, the level of his pokemon go up, but for that certain battle, he has level 53 pokemon. after that, his pokemon go back to the regular cycle.

or maybe he ditched his pokemon. who knows?

Glitch: Something that is there that was not intentionally put there. This was put in with there knowledge, correct, therefore it is not a glitch
