Espeon/Umbreon/Eevee gender

I tried restarting Colosseum for 45 minutes last night. Every time, my two pokemon are both males. Can either one be female? Or, was that not put into this game? Thank you.

Also, does my eevee in XD still have the same ratio for being female as in the gba games?

Well, if I remember right... Espeon/Umbreon will always be male, since Nintendo wanted us to wait till FR/LG for our Eevee goodness, from what I heard.

Eevee I'm not sure about though... due to not knowing much about Gale of Darkness... but I'd think so? ^.^:

on colo, espy and ubry will always be male. on XD, there's the usual ratio (7/8 male, 1/8 female).

Thanks, how about shiny factor for Espeon/Umbreon? Is it nonexistant as well?

i think someone said they did get a shiny starter, but i'm not sure, anyway in xd you can definitely get a female eevee since i got one on my very first try wihtout even having to reset, actually i got one on my second game as well.
