Which would u say is a better move for defenses? Charm can make dragon dancer/cursers almost useless, but reflect only needs to be used once every 5 turns.

i cant decide which is better.

I don't know, I guess Reflect would be better due to the fact that there are more pokemon without dragon dance/curse. I don't know really though.

ill try out both and asee what other ppl say

Espeon has far better options.

Timid Nature @ Leftovers
Calm Mind
Baton Pass
Substitute
Psychic

Neither is particularly good for Espeon, but if you have to go with one, I'd say reflect. It protects your entire team, and if you use Charm, they can just switch out. However, Reflect can be broken by a Pokemon with Brick Break.

reflec is better it protec your entire team and is useful in all battles.charm you just will use it againts dragon dancers.

i didnt ask for another moveset, i dont like those b/c of hazers and roars. Espeon is a great sweeper
Charm is actually working really good. I force a lot of ppl to switch away their physical sweepers. Reflect jsut cuts dmg in half right?

ill try reflect for a bit. I think reflect might be better for a baton passer espeon with sub and clam mind

EDIT: Charm works faster, and allows u to switch, heal, etc. I think ill stick with charm until i start having problems.

Back I guess??
in game Charm is better because opponent just switch if your current pokémon is a shedinja.
competitive/link battles, reflect works better (if you have no other choices in movesets)

If you´re in frontier, I´d suggest you use charm. but be preapared to see a lot of dark attacks! (specially from sceptiles)

ohwell...

My epseon can sweep most pokes in one hit. Psychic, Bite/calm mind and HP fire. so i dont have to worry too much about dark attacks. Just EQs and i can take out most shadowballers without problem.

But im always changing it around depending on how im feeling. Thx for the input tho

Reflect is much better since it will protect you from bug and dark.
Oh well, you dont want it any more so keep it as it is.

surely competitively charm could be useful for forcing switches? some of you seem to be regarding it as a bad thing, but if you charm your opponent the first turn then [assuming you're faster] you'd take very little damage from a physical attack, and then have a free turn to start CMing up. or if their opener has nothing that could hurt it they'd switch to a physical attacker which would promptly have its usefulness annihilated. [unless it was pinsir or kingler]

yea ima keep charm b/c of what u jsut said. Also When i reflect, they just wait it out. I have survived many snorlax's by charming them on the switch. THey cant curse up b/c for every one 1 point they get, i lower their attack by 2

and how do u change the lil icon below ur title and next to ur avatar? Is it depending on your title or how many posts u have?

i understand u guys, but i am survinvg shadow balls, EQs, and rock slides with enough HP to heal/clam mind/berry. When i reflect there is usually a brick breaker, or they just boost their stats till it wears off. Also my team isnt really too weak to physical so im safe for now.

I can charm almost any poke atleast twice and be able to take them out or make them useless (if they r the last poke on the team)

I like the steelix in ur banner Metal Power
