Do we have to get EVERYTHING ( Except Charged Football) 6 months after America? I saved £100 from last Christmas for games that I now know are coming out in Q3/Q4 2007 or 2008!

Why do they do this, does NoE like people hating their guts.

Because all of the console titles have to be modified properly as to display on PAL systems and equipment, not to mention the immense amount of localization that has to go into translating the games into every one of the languages spoken around Europe.

Do people think before they post, or is it really just sitting there going "GRRRRRR NoE IS THE DEVIL I HATE THEM THER SO STOOPID!"?

Why can't they just release it in English for the UK and other places where their video games are in English, then let the other countries wait? That seems smart to me. It can't be too much to convert it to PAL.

Nintendo hates us in Europe. Hell, even the Aussies get crap before us ¬_¬ So shut up and stop being such a douche-bag. The man has a point.

Oh, but he doesn't. The conversion from NTSC to PAL is a complex one, requiring the developer to completely change the visual output of the software. That you fail to comprehend this doesn't change it. Second, you completely invalidate your opinion by suggesting that Nintendo of Europe, in essence, pander to the English-speaking European countries and make the non-English speaking countries wait. Nintendo of Europe is precisely as its title suggests - Nintendo's division handling distribution throughout Europe. ALL of Europe, not just the English-speakers. For them to do as you suggest would really be akin to, say, Nintendo of America releasing a game in America but neglecting to do so in Canada and Mexico, or even better, releasing a game in one part of the USA but not another.

It sounds more like you really don't know what you're talking about and prefer to feign blind anger about what you perceive to be a disservice to European consumers, a theory that in reality makes no sense whatsoever. Sales is a business no matter what language it's in - do you really think they're holding back games that have set sales charts aflame everywhere else in the world and will undoubtedly do so in Europe upon their territory-wide releases there because they want to?

p.s. "douchebag" is one word; no hyphen.
