can someone help me with this EV ****?? i read everything but i just don't get it... for example: i have a barboach (lvl22 right now) that i want to train to whiscash and eventually to lvl 100.. he has a gentle nature what means that defense gets -10% and sp. defense gets +10%.. but i want to train his HP, Special Attack and his speed.. im busy to train his speed at the altering cave because that how i gain speed EV ( i think xD) but it doesn't seem to work... can someone help me out?? and don't use expensive words cause im dutchie:D

Its because your barboach is at level 22 or you dont have macho brace on,low level pokemon when you ev train them ,you dont really see the stats it gains,so for a level 10 Pokemon to gain +1 in a stat,it has to battle 40 pokemon

so i first have to train it to become a whiscash and then i will see obvious progress in my speed and so?? you don't have any tips for me to train certain abilities cuz he is gentle nature and he does wear a macho brace with pokerus.. sow

usually, pokemon gain more stats every level when they are evolved due to their higher base stats;136;

,just keep on training your barboach,at a higher level like at level 35+,you`ll see the ev training effects

He's dutchie so I explain it in Dutch.

De nature heeft er niets mee te maken als je EV traint. Als je max speed wilt hebben moet je 76 zubats verslaan met machobrace en 10 calciums. Als je een speed boost nature hebt wordt het nog groter. Maar al die EV's die je krijgt als je al die zubats verslaat worden niet meteen opgeteld. Als je er 4 EV's krijgt gaat er een punt bij, maar als je op een laag level trained kan dat punt er misschien pas na 3 levels worden bijgeteld. Je kan het verschil wel merken als je een on ge EV trainde pokemon op level 99 alle EV's geeft en dan opleveld naar level 100. Dan komt alles er in een keer bij.
