ev train a rayquaza?

could i get some tips on where the best place to ev train my new shiny rayquaza that i am gonna trade from sapphire over to my fire red?

thnaks in advance.

why would you want both? No defenses BAM LOL one smoked Rayquaza. I say go with 1 attack or special attack, then maybe a bit in speed so it almost always attacks first and then a bit more in hp.

okay, quiet so i really will need the speed. im new to the ev training but doesnt the pokemon have to be stronger or a high level for you to gain evs?

No its just when your a higher level you notice the big difference more thats all. Also with a quiet nature I would make yours a special sweeper unless you got owned in IV's. Also the decrease in speed is a nasty one. Mines a hasty nature so it has 250 speed at lvl 100 which is nice as he outruns a fair bit and 2 hits kills him usualy so its nice having the speed. If you want you could put EV's in hp and special defense if you want to be more defensive and give up on the speed.

Could you post your guys states down so I could see what I am dealing with?

sorry dude. REALLY appreciate the help and looking at the stats i really dont need atk or sp atk so i think def and hp sound like a good idea, who would i battle for them? thanks again by the way.

did you even look at his states he just showed? Since yours has more special go with a special sweeper like

Dragonclaw
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
Crunch

Covers alot of weaknesses Dragon,Grass,Bug,Steel,Ice,Flying,Water,Physic,Ghost

thats just my moveset for a special sweeper Rayquaza. Or you could add rest with a chesto berry I guess but Rayquaza doesn't last long in battle I find so rest is pointless in my view. Your speed sucks majorly. Whats the IV's on that thing 0 lol. Ok I looked it up and its 1 eww lol. Honestly putting EV's into speed won't even help this thing its SOO SLOW LOL. Mine had like 172 speed when I first got it.

what if i had a macho brace on it. would speed be helped or is the nature just gonna be its infinite downfall?

Nature doesn't mean much its just 10 difference in 2 states. Its IV's are ok in some places.

Hp: 28
Atttack: 28
Defense: 25
Sp Attack: 7
Sp Def: 8
Speed: 1

With bad special defense and no speed um ice 1 hit. Then again ice hits 1 hit even on a good one. Has preety nice HP however and defense. The attack is high and sp attack sucks but some how they evened each other out making either one useable. Honestly he isn't a god if anything he is average.

so really i should just keep it as a "trophy" to gloat about to other people. or go for hp by battling clefairys and defense by metapods or kakunas?
