I was wondering which route was better, training a traded pokemon or ev training a non traded pokemon. i have noticed that traded pokemon dont take well to ev training and dont like stat med (hpup, calcium, etc.)

They just don't seem to like the Energy Items because their happiness was reset when you traded them, not because they don't get the full effect from the item. Traded Pokemon are just as easy to Effort Train as your local Pokemon. Sometimes, people say that it's not good to trade Pokemon to raise their EVs because they gain experience faster, but it's very hard to max a Pokemon's Level before getting 510 Effort Points, so this is not really an issue. In the end, there is no significant difference between Effort Training your own Pokemon and traded Pokemon, so get the Pokemon to whatever game you prefer to train on and go from there.

well heres the thing i just got fr and before i was training with r/s/e and when i traded a pokemon i could not get any traded pokemon on any of the three to take those items. and i rarely ever let them faint or get in the yellow in thier hp meter. also before i tried to use stat items i tried to ev traing them in one stat at a time and every time they leveled up they always had random stat increases. but the stat i was trianing them for would tend to be low. the the way i was traning was example only shedinja macho brace first position and blaziken level 100 exp share second to cut exp to shedinja but not ev's?
and iwas realy hoping that would not do that with fr.

Take them to gary's sister. She will groom them, just like in GSC and they will gain big amount of happiness with that.
By the way, I never experienced this problem-

If a pokemon already has 100 evs in one stat it won't take anymore of that vitamin.
as for random stat increase..... of course... no matter how much you ev train before it levels... it's stat increase will be random..... you won't notice the ev training until you get to level 100... that is when the ev's all even out
