So from the way i get how this site explained EV training that means i can only get the Pokemons EV Points up all the way 1 time and then can't do it again....is that how it works?

well, usually... but I think you can actually use some berries to reduce EV's in each stat, so theoretically you could reduce them all the way back and redo them again, or just tinker until you get the ones you want. Good for getting rid of EV's in unwanted stats, but I don't remember the names of the berries...

so if i wanted a Blastoise with high speed then unless i have those berries i can't up his sp.attk doing the EV training.......that sucks......

No, you can max out up to two stats with evs, so you could have a high-speed, high special-attack blastoise if you max out those two.

However, if you up his defence, let's say, when training, but you wanted to max speed/special attack, you'd have to cancel out those unwanted defence EV's using the appropriate berry.

BTW, I think there is a help thread on EV's in the R/S/E section. It can probably be explained better there.

yea how you explained it is how it works, however theres many berries that can lower evs. use them wisely.

But that only works on the Emerald version. The EV's are perminate in the other versions of the main RPG games.

EVs in one stat go up to 255, and there are 510 EVs your pokemon can have in total. So, 2 stats it has can be max but then you have low other stats.
