Ever had a habit..

Have you ever had a habit of when your playing a new game, then suddenly you find an old game laying somewhere, you pick that up and start playing that instead?

I know I have, I suddenly found my old copy of FF8 and decided to play that out of nowhere

Yeah, I've had this 'habit' a few times before.

I remember when I bought Gallery 4 for my GBA, I found my copy of Super Mario World shortly after, and started playing that instead.

It didn't really matter to me, Gallery 4 really wasn't that grest of a game anyway.

At the rate I'm going, I'll never finish any games until I'm flat broke.

Already in the past two months, I've purchased:

-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
-Wii Sports
-Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (Wii)
-Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Neo
-The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past/Four Swords
-The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition
-Gunstar Super Heroes
-Yoshi's Island 2 DS
-Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
-Digimon World DS
-Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
-Viewtiful Joe 2
-Pikmin
-Super Mario 64 (Virtual Console)
-Gunstar Heroes (Virtual Console)
-Sega Genesis Collection

Doesn't help I also go through old games.

Yeah, I'm definately not gonna be able to finish anything.

Hehe. I have a myriad of unfinished GCN and PS2 games, some of which I barely haven´t touched. And before this mountain of stuff I should technically get done before the Wii I have picked up Super Mario 64. Ah well.

Yes. I am never really so addicted to a game that I play it and nothing until until I've completed it. Usually I go back to it later and complete it then.

My newest game is Metroid Prime, but I'm still on the 2nd level because of all the other games I've been playing.

That happens rarely to me, but when I get bored with my games and I'm searching for something to play, some of my old games just fall into my hand...

Aim for the Top.
When I bought Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2, and decided to play Ico instead. =/

Happens to me all the time. For example: I bought Bomberman DS a few weeks ago. I played it for about two weeks, and then i decided to start playing my old Animal Crossing WW again. I got hooked on AC and stopped playing Bomberman.

Happens to me all the time. A few weeks ago when I was playing MD Blue I started to play Metroid Prime Hunters out of nowhere. It also happened yesterday when I was playing Halo 2 then I came across my FFX-2 so I started to play that and got hooked on it. No doubt it's gonna happen again real soon.

Yeah but instead of going back to an old game i turn to a newly bought game and forget to play the older one...Thats how i stoped playing PMD after i finished the main story i found it to boring i got sick of going through dungeon after dungeon...and leveling up...
I've lately been playing Ranger and Jump Ultimate stars both are really great and i've been trying to get shiny porygon for months on end now...

Um... no. I find that I usually play one game at a time. Complete it to the full and then move on. To be honest, I'm not into games like once was. I have Red Steel and it's a very good game but I'm going to beat TP first.

I'm almost done as well.

Well, it does happen to me, when I get bored I decided I might try another game that I have and end up having fun and such. A switch may go like this.

Oblivion-The Sims 2-Oblivion-Driver 3-GTA:SA-Oblivion etc, Its like when I discover new things to do or I find it more fun this time around, I start playing again, and I don't always finish the others

Well, I am glad that i am not the only person who has done that. I recently bought a PS2, for RPGs, and not have 13 games for it o_O.
I think that I have about 30 games to complete (from all consoles, not just PS2)...and there is a huge list of games that I hope to get sometime next year. I am hoping to comp-lete them all before I go back to uni (but, I cannot see it happening.)

I have just moved from Kingdom Hearts II to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight princess(GC). I do usually complete the games I get though, especially if there is a sequel been released.
