If you're using a male and female Pokemon, you can use the Everstone with the female Pokemon for the same effect.

For some reason if you're using a Ditto and a female, the Everstone will only work on the Ditto (just for future reference XD).

Yeah, I'm having a hard time because I'm waiting like 5 minutes for one egg between my marowak and ditto but between my two marowaks there are more eggs than I can handle since

Ditto/Marowak - Different species/Same I.D.
Marowak/Marowak - Same species/Different I.D.
