team magma,team aqua,and of course team rocket.what will be next?i don't know but that would be cool if rocket came back because they never really resolved the whole giovanni disappearing thing.and i know aqua and magma aren't coming back.if rocket came back that would be cool if giovanni was old and his son from gold and silver was the new leader.anyway does anybody have any ideas of what could happen or if they have a new team what do you think would be their motives?

As you said, Magma and Aqua are most probably not coming back. They were very closely entwined with the groudon/kyogre storyline of rse, so seeing them in D/P wouldnt make sense. We will probably be faced with a new team or two, though I'd love to see Team Rocket making a return. It's just so fun thrashing those guys in battle ^_^. And as you said, the Giovanni incident hasn't been completely solved yet.

But I'd rather see a new team in D/P, maybe like Team Rocket (Meaning that They are like Team Rocket in not not having their main goal is to obtain a certian powerful pokemon, Like Team Aqua/Magma, and having their goal is something along the lines of global domination, or something more sinister)

Anyway, I want a brand new team, but a really evil team. Not like those Teams that just fight you then give you a bunch of money and run away in fear. I don't know about the name though. But they shouldn't have all the same Pokémon.

I'd like a game where Rocket and Cipher either team up or fight eachother(I'd rather the 2nd one). But that's not gonna happen in D/P, but I'd like Rocket to return, or a new team.

It'd also be cool if they had new versions of the Team Rocket themes in GSC. They rock.

Most likely though, it'll just be a new team that just does some stuff and gets in your way. Unless the series takes a slightly darker edge this time, which, for whatever reason it feels like it might.

They should have two new teams (one for each game) just like ruby and sapphire. There motive could be to try to find the base rare pokemon in the games (like magma was after groudon).

Along with these new teams, old teams like aqua and magma should make a short appearance in the game.

I would love if Team Rocket made a return... I loved them. But if theres a new team, they had better not be like Aqua/Magma.

Team Rocket actually had some semblance of depth, and I really wanted to see what they would do next. But with Aqua/Magma, it was always just like "Your blocking the road... GET OUT OF THE WAY!". Emerald fixed that a little, but not by much...
