has anyone ever wondered that farfecth'd should evolve into doduo?

ever since pokemon was released i always thought that it should as this is my theory:

  1. Farfecth'd : 1 Head
  2. Doduo: 2 Heads
  3. Dodrio: 3 Heads

Is it jsut me or does anyone share the same view?

They look nothing alike.

A pre-evo of Doduo would probably just be the same with just one head anyway...and that would be boring as a Pokemon in my opinion =/
