Evolution Line: Charizard

This is a continuation of my Base Set 2007 set. Blastoise is complete, and Squirtle and Wartortle are in production. Now, I need feedback on the Charmander line.

I'm going to confirm something now: I was asked why Blastoise was #1 and not Alakazam. Well, to modernize the set, I've changed some of the Pokémon (e.g. Nidoking is now a Pokémon-ex Fighting-type). I've also added some (such as Blissey and Baby Pokémon). I've also changed rarities (e.g. Magikarp is now C, Metapod and Starmie are U). The current set list is final.

So, here are the spoilers!


Charizard - 120 HP - 3/118 - Fire
[POKÉBODY] Blaze
If Charizard's HP is 50 or less, Charizard's attacks to 50 more damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance).
[F][F][C] Burn Out (50)
Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. If tails, discard an Energy card attached to Charizard. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
[F][F][F][F] Blast Burn (100)
You may discard any number of Energy cards attached to Charizard. If you do, this attack does 100 damage plus 10 more damage for each Energy card you discarded. Either way, Charizard can't attack during your next turn.

Charmeleon - 80 HP - 33/118 - Fire
[F][C] Wildfire (20)
Choose 2 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. This attack does 10 damage to those Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance to Benched Pokémon.)
[F][F][C] Flamethrower (40+)
Choose 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. This attack does 20 damage to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance to Benched Pokémon.)

Charmander - 50 HP - 49/118 - Fire
[C] Scratch (10)
[F][F] Fire Tail (20)
Remove 1 damage counter from Charmander.

All Pokémon:
Weakness: Water
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: Charmander 1, Charmeleon 2, Charizard 2.

I got a Venusaur Family that will help you


Venusaur 110HP

Poke-Power: Overgrow. If Venusaur has 50HP or Less, Flip A Coin. If Heads, Venusaur's Attacks do 50 more damage. If tails, All attacks done to Venusaur are Ruduced by 50 (Before Applying Weakness and Resistance. You can't use this power if Venusaur is effected by a Special Condition and this power keeps working until venusaur is Knocked Out.

Toxic
[L] [L] The Defending Pokemon is Now Posioned. Put 3 Damage Counters on The Defending Pokemon Instead of 1.

Solarbeam 50

Frenzy Plant 200

Flip A Coin. If Heads, Discard All Energy Cards Attached To Venusaur. If Tails, Venusaur Can't Attack For The Next 2 Turns And All Attacks Do 20 More Damage To Venusaur (Before Applying Weakness and Resistance).

Awesome spoilers! But your Charizard missed something... (Look at the bold on the effect) anywayz, he should be an EX.

Mario Man: I've already done the Venusaur evo line, but I'm freaked as to how close you got with Venusaur! I'll post the one I did later.

greatchikorita: Thanks, I forgot about that. Man, I need to revise Blastoise now...It'll be made when Cascade's site reopens and I have access to the blanks again.

How's this for a Mewtwo idea...

Mewtwo - 70 HP - 12/118 - Psychic
[POKÉPOWER] Pressure
Whenever Mewtwo is Attacked, your opponent discards 1 Energy card attached to the Attacking Pokemon (this doesn't include Energy Cards attached to the Attacking Pokemon in order for it to use an attack). This PokéPower can't be used if Mewtwo is affected by a Special Condition.
[P][C] Calm Mind
Search your deck for up to 2 Energy cards that provide [P] or [P][P] Energy, then attach them to your Pokémon in any way you wish.
[P][P][P][C] Genetic Storm (50+)
Flip a coin for each [P] Energy attached to your Pokémon. This attack does 50 damage plus 10 more damage times the number of heads.

Seeing that I'm not too familiar with the standard of the EX series (I'm used to creating Neo Gym cards), this may be incorrectly worded or even broken...

EDIT: Corrected some fatally glaring errors. Which goes to show once again that I'm losing my experience.
