yes. send it out, KO the magneton, and let your pokemon get knocked out. since it doesn't get EXP from beating the exploud, it wouldn't get the EVs either.
this would likely be easiest if your pokemon can be knocked out by an EQ, and can KO the magneton by itself. have it KO maggy, then have your partner use EQ. it should knock the EV trained poke and exploud out, and it wouldn't get EXP.

Before hearing about EV training, I used to favor chasing Gabby and her cameraman over the map for quick leveling. Seeing as they use a combination of Explaud (sp?) and Magnaton, I was wondering if there was a way I could have a pokemon only get the EVs for the Magnaton.
1. The top two Pokemon in your party are sent out first at the start of a Double Battle, so when you talk to G&T, make sure two pokemon you already EV trained are at the top of your party.
If you've got two Level 100s, you can probably get this trick done w/ ease...
2. Once the battle starts, KO Exploud by attacking Exploud w/ one pokemon you already trained to make sure that the unneccessary HP EVs are not received by the pokemon you want to only distribute Magneton's EVs to, and waste the other pokemon's turn to use any move that doesn't deal direct damage to the opponent...
3. On the turn after the turn that Exploud fainted on, switch out any one of your pokemon currently out, and switch in the pokemon you want to distribute Magneton's EVs to, and attack Magneton w/ the pokemon you didn't switch out in exchange for the pokemon you wanted to distribute Magneton's EVs to, and hope that Magneton faints...
4. If Magneton doesn't faint, then if he tried to aattack the pokemon you switched out, the pokemon you wanted to distribute Magneton's EVs to will most likely faint if not trained to Magneton's level, but if Magneton does faint...
Ta-Da! Your pokemon got only the EVs from Magneton...
