exp share problem

I trained a Lavaitar and a beldem on atk and speed EVs
they were both holding expshares and I used an alakazam to do the fighting.
about a few hours of training I got all 510 evs. then I trade my Lavitar and Beldem over to Ruby to get the ribbon and the lady said I have to work harder.
I trained in
252 (100 vits)ATK EVs
252 SPD EVs
6 HP EVs

but I didnt get a ribbon
what gives?

Did you focus on only 3 EV's? This happens and depends on how many Pokemon you battled(I think). For example, I train a Milotic to Lv.50 focusing on only Special Attack and HP from Lv. 6 but that doesn't mean its EVs are maxxed out. I remember seeing that there is a certain number of Pokemon you have to battle in the website.....

I traied them both up to 510 evs, which is the max EVs possible

You probably miscalculated your EVs.

I never heard of that before. Probably you can't get the ribbon.

The only way is you miscalculated the evs.
Are you sure you were fighting the correct pokemon with the correct number of ev points you were writing down? check your numbers again and you'll prolly find your answer
