No. Why should it?

It divides the experience obtained between the holder and the battler. But the stat growth remains the same. As is the EV gain.

No, it works just the same as if the poke was in battle (as like the president says when he gives you the exp share)

and, if you think about it, it actually makes your battling pokemon gain more stats than it normally would at level-up. it gets the same EVs, but only half the exp. so by the time it's hit the next level, it's gotten twice as many EVs, and therefore gets more stats. ... of course, if its EVs are already maxed out, it has no effect.

This has been answered. All it does is split the Exp. gained from the battle.
