Fairy Tale Heroes: A Fairy Tale Magical Girl RP (PG-13)

InnerFlame

Fire and Ice Combo
Name: Lentil 'Len' or Lenny' Charme
Age: 22
Gender: Male

Appearance: Len is an average height boy standing at five feet and nine inches. He has very rounded and smooth facial features, which give him a very feminine face. His large green eyes and long eyelashes don't do him any favors. Neither does his slightly rosy cheeks on his fair skin and plump round lips. Even Len's slender build has a slight curviness to it that screams girly. Despite how he outwardly appears, he has quite the toned and fit body. His hair is straight, blond, and shoulder length. Long bangs cover Len's eyes when he doesn't have it pulled behind his ear or pinned to the side. A high ponytail is how the boy always styles his hair. By the silkiness and shine of the golden locks, it's obvious he takes good care of it. There are holes in his earlobes to indicate that he once had piercings, but they have closed up.

Len prefers to wear t-shirts and shorts that fit his body. While he not against it, he tries to avoid pink and purple colors since they are more associated with girliness. He avoids all cutesy and girly articles of clothing when he can. Though, Len is willing to wear some cute matching outfits with his sister. Len's current outfit is a black t-shirt with light blue left half a heart, a blue hooded jacket, blue cargo shorts, and some white and grey sneakers. He has a pale blue bracelet and several black ones on his left wrist.

Personality: When on his own, Len comes off as a tough person by the way he stands with chest puffed out and arm crossed. It is not uncommon for him to throw a glare out at someone that is getting too familiar with him. He has a mischievous streak that he hadn't yet outgrown. Getting great amusement from teasing and pulling pranks to see the other person's reaction, Len rarely realizes his teasing has gone too far. The man always feels truly awful when he deeply hurts someone and will sincerely apologize. Kind and mature enough, Len admits his wrongdoing even if it won't fix everything. He'll try incredibly hard to make amends with the person somehow.

Once one figures out that his teasing is just a way he interacts, people learn that he is an alright guy. He'll stand up for others being harshly treated and fight to protect the weak. Like a cool and mature older brother, Len is there to give advice and help others when they need it. There are limits to how far he'll reach his neck out for someone he doesn't really know. Though once you befriend him, Len becomes a pal that the person can depend on. Around his younger twin sister, Clementine, one can see the mature older brother in full action. There's a gentle, friendly atmosphere around him, he is relaxed. It is easy to see the strong bond between siblings as they laugh together, playful tease one another, and even bicker among themselves. Len is overprotective of his little sister and will try to swap off any potential bugs trying to get close to her. He dislikes any guys that get too friendly with her.

Len has developed quite the complex about his more feminine features. When other's point it out, he feels a compulsion to prove he just as manly as the next guy. This causes an extreme aversion to anything feminine or gay. While he tries not to outwardly show his discomfort, his body language is noticeably uncomfortable around large groups of men. He dodges talking about it and tries not to get too close to what is assumed a gay guy. The man grows incredibly defensive and insistent on his sexuality when forced to interact with one. Rather than being bias and hating homosexuals, it seems more like a deep-seated fear. One that he doesn't want to share with anyone, including his sister.

History: Lentil Charme was born in the state of Florida alongside his twin sister, Clementine. His parents were supposedly a lovely couple though their mother passed away after giving birth to the twins. Winning custody, they ended up being raised by their grandmother. Living under their grandmother's protective eye was quite smothering. Loving, but she was overbearing of the two's wellbeing. Their grandmother was always more fixated and strict on Len, which gave him very little breathing room. They became mischievous as they learn to poke at and tease one another and their grandmother. This behavior was transfer over to other children they met, who were less accepting of the antics. They had each other, so they felt they didn't need friends with people that didn't understand them.

The twins' teasing and prankish nature lasted for almost the duration of elementary school. In their last year, the twins were put into separate classes, and they realized school was hard when by themselves. Since then, they have been working harder at making actual friends. It was around middle school time when their grandmother really started cracking down on him, so he ended up not spending as much time with his sister. When his grandmother wasn't forcing him to study, he spent most of his time doing school activities. They were the only activities his grandmother approved of for him. Len joined the Chorus Club in which he learned that he really enjoyed singing.

Between school, clubs, and studying, he barely had any time to hang out with Clem like they used to. When she finally came back into view, she was in tears over a break-up. Knowing that she needed support, a friend through these times, Len pushed many things aside so that he could be with her more. Hearing about this, Charles that made his little sister cry, infuriated him. But it wasn't until he met the man and heard him spouting out his demeaning comments that he detested that person. Enraged, Len pummeled Charles to a bloody pulp, and that got him in trouble with both school and his grandmother. After his less than ideal results on his final exam came out, the absolutely furious one was his grandmother.

During the following summer break, Clem was sent off to their father's place, while he was enrolled in a summer school. The school was primarily boys, and there wasn't anyone he knew. Len made a couple of friends, but his main goal was to just get through summer school and attempted to enjoy whatever was left of summer. There was some unwanted attention toward him from some of the taller and older male students, but he didn't let it bother him. The problem arose when they cornered and attempted to have their way with him. How they spoke about his cute face and lovely features made him sick to his stomach. Fortunately, he was able to escape with only a forced kiss and some light groping. But the trauma was done. Len's remaining time at summer school was filled with him avoiding those guys and preventing himself from being alone.

This aversion continued on passed that one time at summer school. Len got paranoid that other guys were checking him out. He went to a gym to get stronger but felt so uncomfortable there around questionable guys he quit. Len just started to do at-home exercises before bed and stopped hanging out with his friends at school. Len was even so self-conscious of his appearance, he cut off all his hair one day after some comment on how beautiful his hair was. Grandmother and Clem began to show concern, so Len tried to return to some form of normalcy to put them at ease. The thing that saved him was getting back into a chorus club. Singing was the one pastime that he full-heartedly enjoyed, and help release all the tenseness inside of him. But when talking to his grandmother about going into a musical field, it was met with total rejection. She even made him quit the club that put those silly ideas in his head. He needed a respectable and reliable career, she said.

Ultimately, he was pushed into the medical field. Len is three years in pharmaceutical studies and has an internship job at a local pharmacy. Worried about his sister and her strong desire to find a man, Len moved into a nearby apartment to keep a close eye on her. More accurately on the men that Clem attempted to court. Len is managing is life pretty well, considering everything he has been through.

Fairy Tale: Rapunzel
Artifact: A lock of golden blonde hair tied together by a purple ribbon

Costume: As Rapunzel, Len's blond hair suddenly becomes much longer, going down to his ankles. He is suddenly wearing a frilly dark purple and magenta corset with puffy short sleeves. Some purple cloth attached to the sleeves draped across the back of his arms. It looks similar to the top of fancy ball grown with crossing straps around his neck to keep it in place. It's a really snug fit around his chest. Fasten around his waist is a short, violet pleated skirt. From his sides to his back, the cloth is longer like the bottom of a ruffled dress. The skirt makes Len's hips look broader, which gives him a more female body shape. The manliest part of his costume his the royal purple pants and black dress shoes. It stands out a bit among all the frilly and floaty fabric attached to his body.

zlDlBAF.png

Weapon: Flower Staff- it is two thick purple and pink branches intertwined and coming apart to form a heart-shape at the top. It is about five feet in height. It has vines wrapping around and tiny pink, blue, purple, yellow, and white flowers sprouting out from it. A large amount of pink and purple flowers are growing out from the heart-shaped portion.

Abilities:

Control of his hair at will

Lentil can move his hair as if it were one of his limbs. That being said, he often puts it in the form of two giant hands in which he uses to punch his enemies. Alternately, he can snake them out and have it entangle his opponent. He is also able to adjust the length of his hair. The hair has a definite range in which it will not grow any longer of about 20 feet. The shortest can be is about 5 feet. While the hair is resistant to being pulled and ripped out, it can without much trouble be cut with something sharp. The hair will grow back, but that lock of hair is unused until it does so.

Healing Tears

With the help of his staff, he can cast a healing spell called Healing Tears. Green water will drip down on his target and heal their minor wounds. While it's not an all healing spell, it can give someone injured a little vitality.

Enchanting Melody

Singing through the heart-shaped portion of the staff amplifies Len's voice. When he sings, it draws the attention of the enemies creating an opening to attack them. But at the same time, it commonly makes them change their target to him.

Other:

Len is the older one of the twins.

He looks almost identical to his younger twin sister despite being different genders.

He has a beautiful singing voice, but normally only sing when he is alone.

Name: Clementine 'Clem' or 'Clemmie' Charme
Age: 22
Gender: Female

Appearance: Clem is slightly above average height for a girl standing a little under five feet and eight inches tall. Sometimes she is a little taller thanks to the help of heels. With overall rounded and soft features, she looks like a pretty girl. Large green eyes and long eyelashes only add to her cute charm. Her slightly rosy cheeks on her fair skin and plump and shapely lips, do as well. Clem often wears some light make-up to highlight her girlish charms. She is not well-embowed, but she still has some subtle curves, which give off a feminine air. Clem's body is slender and toned but still soft and smooth at the touch. Her hair is straight, blonde, and reaches her mid-back. Long bangs cover most of her forehead and touch her eyes, but she commonly has it pinned out the way with a cute hair clip. If the hair isn't down, she braids it into one long braid. The shine and the silkiness of her golden locks show she puts a lot of effort into making it look nice. Both of her ears have a hole in the lobes. Clem puts in some hoop or studded earrings sometimes.

Clem prefers to wear long sleeves and pants on the norm, so she has less skin to put sunblock on. It is not uncommon for her to wear t-shirts and shorts, however. More than the color of the clothes, she solely likes cute outfits. So wearing a cute blouse and skirt combo or dresses is a part of her rotating wardrobe. On occasion, she wears adorable matching outfits with her brother. Clem's current outfit is a black t-shirt with a pink right half a heart, a matching pink long sleeve shirt underneath that, light blue jeans, and some white and pink sneakers. She is wearing a series of pink bracelets on her right wrist. She is also wearing a silver ring with a rose on her left hand.

EPoyXy7.png

Personality: Clem comes off as a pretty normal girl when by herself. She is peppy, happy, and on the flirty side. She's all smiles with an energetic skip in her step. It is very likely for her to walk up to handsome guys and be extra cute to draw their attention. She butters them up with compliments to show that she's interested. Once she finds a potential love interest, she is all eyes for them. There is a bit of mischievousness in her personality that she had since she was a child. She enjoys purposely pushing people's buttons and watch them turn red from embarrassment or anger. Finding it adorable and amusing, Clem will keep teasing the same person over and over if she enjoys their reactions. Able to recognize that her teasing is going too far, she will back off immediately. While she enjoys getting a rise out of people, she doesn't really want to hurt anyone.

Despite her teasing nature, people often find Clem approachable. The girl has an inviting air about her. She isn't the most mature for her age, pouting when plans don't go her way or whining a bit when she tired. But, she is actually accepting and adaptable about things, especially involving friendships and love. She is incredibly emotional, happy one moment, annoyed another. The girl is not afraid to show what she is truly feeling. Or letting people learn what kind of person she really is. That is just another part of her that people really like about her. It also gives Clem a very genuine atmosphere, which helps others open up and be more honest themselves.

Being really, really into love, Clem wishes for others' happy relationships even if she envious of it. She adores hearing others' love stories, talking about boys, and dreaming about finding her own lover. She is a romantic, but at the same time, she's impatient. This causes her to go into the arms of the first person that returns her affections. Once she has committed to a relationship, she is willing to compromise to make it work. Typically, she finds someone beside her brother to talk about relationships as he always tries to keep guys away from her. Speaking of her older brother, Clem and Len are really close siblings, and everyone can tell. Clem is needier and more teasing towards her brother, she particularly relishes getting a rise out of him. Despite their little back and forths, she loves and worries about him a lot.

History: Clementine Charme was born in the state of Florida alongside her twin brother, Lentil. Her parents were supposedly a lovely couple though their mother passed away shortly after giving birth to the twins. Winning custody, they ended up being raised by their grandmother. Living under their grandmother's protective eye was a bit smothering. Loving, but she was overbearing of the two's wellbeing. Their grandmother was always more fixated and strict on Len, which gave Clem more breathing room.

It was around middle school time when their grandmother really started cracking down on her brother, so Clem found herself hanging out with other girls her age a lot. Her curiosity in boys and love increased as she talked with her friends. Clem would doll up and chat with them but didn't really get it. It did make her feel happy, but she couldn't yet differentiate the feels.

Eventually, Clem found herself a boyfriend. She and Charles were a close couple for a month and a half before he dumped her. Merely telling her, he got a girl who was more fun than her and that she was too serious about the relationship. Hearing that broke her heart, Clem was hang up over him for a long time. This whole thing ultimately ended with her big brother beating up her ex-boyfriend. Although Len had gotten in great trouble with the school and grandmother, Clementine was glad that someone would put themselves through so much just for her.

During the summer after her break-up, Clem and Len were separated. Len was forced to attend summer school, and she got to spend time with their father and two older sisters. While her other siblings were both needy girls, Clementine was happy to finally meet her father. There were many tales told about her parents from how the two met, to when they fell in love. Even though she had died, Clem could still feel that he loved her mother a whole lot. It fueled the young girl's desire to find love. Not just for some superficial connection, but true love. As a parting gift, her father bought her a beautiful rose ring that she still cherishes today. After that summer, she became very interested in love once more and wanted to find her true love.

Clem dated many guys and was able to rebound afterward better with the hope that she will eventually find 'the one.' Some would end after a short time, some would last for a long time, but all of them would eventually end. But throughout high school and college, she still remained hopeful that her true love was out there. Clem got a degree in cosmetology and currently working at a hair salon. While she and Lentil don't live together anymore, they do live close to each other.

Fairy Tale: Beauty and Beast
Artifact: A Sparkly Red Rose

Costume: As both Beauty and Beast, Clementine's skin gets covered in coarse brown fur. It looks like some kind of fursuit with an animal muzzle over her nose and mouth. Her hair is still blonde but gets a new style: wore down, wildly ruffled, and seem to form a pair of large canine ears at the side of her head. Above those, two horns curve down on the sides and come back up as it reaches the front. Clem's horns and bangs are both decorated with full bloom red roses.

Over her fur-covered body, she is wearing a tangerine yellow ball grown with and a strap of red roses over the left shoulder. The dress fluffs outward and goes to about knee height. The bottom of the dress appears to be ripped and has some holes in it. Continuing down her legs, a pair of brown fur boots that go up to her knees. The final article of clothes to mention is a red cape tied around her neck and covering her back. Even with the awful condition of the dress, it actually a perfect fit for her body.

E6CBhGi.png

Weapon: Rose Clawed Gauntlets- the pair of brown weaponry matches the color of the fur around the wrist and back of hands. Roses are across the knuckles, and four ruby red claws come out from underneath it. The crystal claws are three inches long and very sharp.

Abilities:

Beastly Strength

Clem's strength is increased tenfold. She can lift things several times heavier than herself and destroy incredibly durable objects.

Beastly Agility

She can move more swiftly, especially if she goes down on all four. She's able to leap high heights and great distances. Along with her mobility, she also becomes much more maneuverable, which allows swift and sudden turns.

Beastly Senses

Clem's vision, hearing, and sense of smell are greatly enhanced, granting her new view of the world. Her eyes can see things from further away, and she also gains clear sight at night. With her improved hearing can she's able to pick up subtle sounds as well as distance noises. And finally, her stronger sense of smell picks up different unique scents that normal humans cannot. She is not always able to identify what she is smelling, but she can locate it. Most likely due to the combination of these senses, Clem just sometimes know where to find things within a range of herself.

Petal Waltz

Petals from the roses on her outfit can be manipulated by her with movement from her hands and body. The motions seem to resemble a ballroom waltz. As she performs this solo waltz, petals begin to dance around her. She can then fire them out in a flurry of tiny projectiles or create a petal barrier between her enemies. It starts out strong and powerful, but gradually get weaker as she dances. The roses on her body will begin to wilt and die if she overuses it. This also happens if she gets too injuries. If she too weakened, Clem is unable to use this power altogether.

Other:

Clem is the younger one of the twins.

She looks almost identical to her older twin brother despite being different genders.

She does have a lovely singing voice, but she has even better dance moves.

Tis the Hour to Reload
Okay! Robin Hood powered character SU done! Hopefully the abilities are fine. The Aladdin SU should follow up soon.

Name: Kogoro Waite
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Standing at an exact five feet, Kogoro comes off as scrawny and blank. His slightly unkempt hair is straight, short and dark brown, with bangs that almost cover both of his eyes, which are also brown, but because of its shade, in some angles they look almost dried blood red, and somehow have a disinterested look despite how often they flit around from observing his surroundings. His face, and his body in general, is on the thin side, even after he started having regular meals. His build, however, is lean and quick from his early years in an orphanage in Tokyo, his hobby of cycling and the time spent dancing with his girlfriend. He has a few scars across his arms, as well as quite a few burns from working with machinery.

His attire looks very, very brooding but also very, very simple. His most common, and often thought to be only, set is just a simple white t-shirt with brown khaki pants and black boots, which contrast with his somewhat pale skin and his sometimes red eyes. The only accessory he wears on a constant basis is a keychain with a tiny figure of Kamen Rider Build at the end of it attached to his shorts, a gift from his girlfriend for his eighteenth birthday.

Personality: Kogoro is, simply put, a stoic person. So stoic in fact that it almost seems like he's emotionless or even bored. Almost as if to add to that persona, he's also very quiet, not one to talk much, usually letting Hikaru speak for him. And when he does speak, it's soft, taciturn and, more often than not, with a lack of energy. Because of all this, he comes off as uncaring and anti-social when it couldn't be further from the truth.

True, he is a naturally quiet person but he prefers being in the company of others. In fact, one of his favorite places to be is in parties and bars because of how lively it is and how people are smiling. If someone does talk to him, he will listen attentively, no matter the subject, even something as mundane as what they've been doing recently and is most likely to speak if he wants clarifications on what they're talking if it's something more esoteric. And he treats others with a gentle demeanor that might come off as coddling to some. The only problem is that in his early years, he learned that showing emotions, especially complaining, usually meant a beating from the older children and considering he was a naturally quiet person to begin with, it was easy to hide it pretty quickly. So, even though it's been a few years since then, he still has trouble expressing his emotions beyond his words.

This is also the reason why, despite his nonchalant exterior, he is an equally wary and observant yet lonely and yearning young man, though the latter has lessened in the past years. His eyes always look around and take stock of his location and everyone around him, out of his habit of keeping an eye for bullies. He doesn't open up easily to strangers, not talking too much about himself if he talks at all. Yet he doesn't like being alone. He hates the feeling more than anything in the world. And when he does end up talking to strangers, he is likely to just want to please them as wary as he is. It's a paradox that Kogoro is trying to overcome, but it's going to take a while.

So he turns to his passion of machines. Not only does he love tinkering them and learning about them, he also loves making his own. Some of them just little toys like moving cars or figures to more complicated and practical stuff, like an engine for a cart (which was one of the causes for his burns). He also has a passion for books, particularly mysteries and whodunits, as he likes solving them and puzzles in general. These are the things that he uses whenever he's trying to get out of his shell.

And if he does happen to make a friend, his want to please them is increased by tenfold. He will treasure that friend for as long as he lives and is very loyal. He also, unlike most Japanese people and perhaps people in general, likes hugs. Not having had much affection when he was young means he craves it more than he should.

He is, however, still a pragmatic person and most of his thought processes are based on logic and what would get him closer to whatever his goal is, and whatever that goal is usually affects whether his choices are the more logical and heartless or irrational and sympathetic. And the worst part is that he has little to no self-value, even after having had his adoptive family and Hikaru in his life, so if there's any idea where a sacrifice is needed, he's likely to take up on it because he doesn't think that his life could be worth more than the lives of many others. But he tries his best to think better of himself these days, much like with trying to overcome his difficulty in intrracting with strangers, for Hikaru's sake, if not his own.

History: A bastard child, Kogoro's mother alone raised him at first in the shabby apartment she called home in Shinjuku. But when his mother dies from a drunkard pushing her in the way of traffic, he's put in an orphanage because none of his relatives wanted anything to do with him. And unfortunately being the new kid, and a bastard child, just made living there all the harder.

He learned quickly to not show he was crying and to keep to himself, because none of the kids liked him, even the ones who didn't like the older bullying kids. So when his "caretaker" wasn't checking on him among the many other children under their care, he was all by himself. Predictably, he also was alone at school and so would spend time in the library instead of playing with his schoolmates. It was there he learned more than most orphans would since he had nothing better to do during break. And when back at orphanage, he would just stay in his bed in the room he shared with many others. At first, he didn't do much except wait for school until he saw one of the toys the other kids discarded, a very cheap and broken plastic Kamen Rider figure.

He wanted to fix it so he then looked to books on fixing things. That toy was then added with another he found in the trash, as well as a broken cellphone. Soon, he got so many he had to find a spot he could stash his things, not wanting any of the others to take it away from him or mess it up again.

But even if the kids mostly left him alone physically, he still felt isolated and he was still thought of as someone who shouldn't exist. He was lonely and had no future. And as he saw the older kids, aged eighteen, practically get kicked out, he knew he was running out of time to figure some sort of solution. But real life wasn't like the TV shows he would watch at night, when he could watch their reruns without the other kids making fun of him for liking to watch them. There were no heroes.

But then one day on the way back from school, while being bullied by a bunch of his school, someone came up to them. It was a boy, at most thirteen years old, and he insisted they stop. Before the kids could beat him too, more people came up...most noticeably two older teens with glares that sent chills down his spine. To say the least, it scared the pee out of them and they ran off. That was when he met Morgan Despisito and his sisters.

They brought Kogoro to their home and dealt with his injuries. But when he was about to go, they had asked on his reason for not telling his parents about the bullies. Of course, he tried to not answer them, but he eventually told them about his mother's death and his situation. They were quiet with the answer and, after finally being able to leave, Kogoro couldn't help but feel they didn't want anything to do with him now that they knew he was bastard child.

Oh how wrong he had been as just the next day in the orphanage he lived in, Morgan and his sisters arrived, along with their father, Igor Waite. He was a scary looking man, with more wrinkles than he should have for his age, but he was the first, in fact only, adult to speak and treat him kindly, along with his children. They spent the entire day together, talking and playing, and it was the most happiness Kogoro had yet. Though it was tinged with sadness as the afternoon got closer to dusk. But once it was time for them to go, Igor said he wanted to adopt Kogoro.

He couldn't believe it. But after a very long and grueling battle with red tape and jaded social workers, Kogoro finally became a part of the Waite family and moved to their home in coastal Florida.

But despite now having a loving, if eccentric, family, it wasn't really smooth sailing. He still had a hard time fitting in school, not helped by the fact he wasn't fluent in English. There were still bullies in this part of the world too, always making fun of him from his difficulty in speaking "normally" to his height to even how somehow got high grades despite his "incomplete" English. And it certainly didn't help that he liked Kamen Rider. Though unlike before, they only ever physically bullied after one attempt, thanks in large part to his eldest sister, and he was greatly glad for that as he still had the occasional nightmare of being beaten to near death. And so he had no friends whatsoever in his school.

But he had a family now so he couldn't exactly complain.

Fate, however, decided to be kind to him once again.

He had been reading some English folktales in the local library, having become absolutely fascinated with Robin Hood, and worked all the harder to learn English so he could read them. And as he reached for a book to help him with that, a girl with curly hair and grey eyes about his age noticed him get it...and asked if he was Japanese...in Japanese. To say the least, he hadn't expected to meet another one who spoke Japanese, so it took a bit before he composed himself and answered her question. After that, she asked if she could help him learn English...and he said yes.

That was how he met Hikaru Desposito.

After that initial meeting where he made much more progress learning English, despite the fact she went to a different school than his, she wanted to hang out with him more, which surprised him but he agreed, having enjoyed his time with her. As such, they spent most of their weekends together, Kogoro learning more about the girl at each one. That she was stubborn when he tried to convince her to stop, mischievous in many of her actions such as whenever she got him to dance with her, and kind to others, no matter their problem or background, which got her close to trouble a few times.

And not only that, she had introduced him to her friends from school, her friends easily accepting him into the group, Kogoro spending as much time with the rest of the group as with Hikaru. However, he always enjoyed Hikaru's company the most. He kept wanting to make her smile and helping her however he could, always feeling warm and proud and just plain old happy whenever he succeeded. And suddenly, he started thinking how pretty and cute she was...and how much he wanted to kiss her and spend the rest of his life with her.

To say the least that confused the heck out of him, unsure where those thoughts came from...at least at first, because not long after he was beginning to figure out what he was feeling, Hikaru confessed to him. It was then he knew he fell in love with his first friend, just as Hikaru fell for him. It was a bit daunting to him at first. He only vaguely knew about romance but Hikaru was patient. And really, the only difference that came from it was that Kogoro had the words to describe his feelings. And that their friends and family teased them about being a couple along with being supportive about it.

Now he's just finishing his school work and deciding where to go for college with Hikaru not too far behind him. Life was good. He never thought he would ever end up this way.

Of course Fate, much like Hikaru, had a weird sense of humor...and he had no idea of the adventure waiting for him.

Fairy Tale: Robin Hood

Artifact: Bycocket of a Rebel, the signature hat of Robin Hood.

Costume: A thief fighting against the opressive system for the good of all. That is Robin Hood, but the image Kogoro's costume strikes, with its green, white and red color scheme, is more reminiscent of a superhero, or, more specifically, a tokusatsu hero. He still wears the ever iconic bycocket of Robin Hood, its rim white, its crown green and the feather red. But the beyond that, he doesn't really look like a rogue, or medieval for that matter.

He's wearing a skin tight jumpsuit that's an emerald green with white gloves and combat boots. On his chest in white and stylized kanji is the Japanese word for "justice" (正義) and hanging from red shoulder pauldrons is a small white cape, only covering his shoulder blades. His red belt has a buckle that has the katakana for "rider" (ライダー) on it and red sheaths for his cutlasses, one on each side. And, most prominent of all is his red mask that resembles a bird's beak, or more specifically, a robin's, covering the upper part of his face.

Weapon: Two cutlasses made of fine steel. Their handguards looking like white wings, some of them wrapping the sword and the rest spread out. The handles are emerald in color but leather in texture. The pommels allow the swords to attach together to mainly form a bow, but also a double bladed sword.

Abilities:
The First Archer: As the most famous archer in existence, if not the archer, Kogoro has incredible aim, able to perform feats normally impossible for most people. However, he can still miss, it's just means that he can aim better at smaller, faster and farther targets than most people.

Arrows of Light: Fueled by magic and rebellion, Kogoro is able to form arrows for his bow, looking like streaks of light when fired. They only cause damage against a target, the power of which depends on how far he pulls back.

Merry Man: As Robin Hood was the leader of a group made up of his friends, Kogoro's strength and speed are increased a small amount for each person he is close to (whether as friends, family or his love, Hikaru) and fighting alongside in a battle. It increases up to ten people max, any more and it does not increase.

Rebellious Oath: Robin Hood one of the most well known folk rebels fighting for good, the weak and the opressed. As such, should Kogoro be defending an injured person, his stamina and defense are noticeably increased. This does not increase the more people he defends.

Other:
Kogoro is left-handed.
Kogoro speaks Japanese fluently and English mostly fluently, just with a slight accent. I, however, am only fluent in the latter so any Japanese he'll speak will either be in italicized English, unless he's saying a Japanese word I know of by itself.
since everyone else is mentioning it for their characters Kogoro is demisexual.
Though he may not be a great dancer, Kogoro actually has a good singing voice. Not that he uses it a lot or knows how to use it well.
Kogoro is a fan of Kamen Rider, having seen all the Heisei series up to Build.

And here's the Aladdin one! Hopefully I got the abilities fine on first try. a little unsatisfied with personality section but eh it's fine

Name: Hikaru Desposito
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: At four foot eight, Hikaru doesn't stand tall by most standards, but makes up for it with her confident posture and graceful movements befitting of a dancer. As such, her build is lean and thin from years of dancing and her feet calloused from all the times she felt like doing it barefoot. She is pretty small chested, making it easy for her dance and pretend to be a guy should she feel like it, her pale blue eyes bordering on grey often alight with mischief, along with an equally conniving smile. Her dark curly hair is kept short because it's less of a hassle to take care of, as well as not getting in the way of dancing.

Unsurprisingly, her attire focuses on two things: comfort and how easily she can dance in it. As such, her most common attire are jean shorts, a simple black shirt and sneakers, as she prefers darker colors, especially black, which pairs well with her light brown skin. The only accessory she wears on a daily basis is a simple silver colored chain necklace with a star at the end of it, a gift from her boyfriend.

Personality: Hikaru comes off as a polite yet cheery young woman, always with a smile on her face and pleasant tone as she speaks with others. And, well...that is true. She can generally be summed up as "nice" upon meeting her as Hikaru is, at her core, a compassionate person. She's always willing to help those in need, often having the urge to do so, more often than not busy assisting her friends, family and strangers, if not than just to lend an ear to their problems, because sometimes that's all someone needs. She prefers treating others with kindness, thus speaking in softer tones, and more than willing to give affection, most commonly hugs, especially if it means it flusters them. And she always has a smile on her face, like a star shining in the sky, naturally bright and lighting others, just like her name. But though that is her core, there is still more to her.

She's a clever and smart girl, usually solving problems in uncoventional ways, if not outright solving it quickly, and knowing quite a number of subjects in part because of her background and in part of her love of learning. However, because of being compassionate and empathetic, she is a woman who follows her heart, so she is more likely to make decisions based on what she feels like she should do, even if the smart thing to do is something rlse entire. So any advice she gives is usually based from that, if not based on any knowledge she learned that would help and it is hard for her to ignore someone who wants help. And if she dislikes something, she'll make it painfully clear to anyone in the vicinity, especially bullies and injustice in general.

Not only that, Hikaru is very energetic along with her cheerfulness, one of the many reasons she loves to dance, letting her expend her energy in something she loves to do to express herself. Pair that with her emotional decision making with her boundless energy, and it means that she's surprisingly reckless, doing things that are dangerous if it means helping someone. In consequence, if she has a bad feeling about something, then she's also likely to be very cautious.

Besides that, Hikaru is also a confident and mischievous person. She holds her back straight and head high, sure of who she and her capabilities. She likes having fun, often the source of jokes and lightly teasing in a group as well as the one to laugh from anyone doing the same, while her pranks are the more harmless onesand trying things. As such, she's a bit of a show off, loving to show others her talents, especially her dancing, and can be annoying because of it. But most of all, she values her friends and family, willing to do absolutely anything for them, but most especially the love of her life, Kogoro.

History: Born in suburban Japan, Hikaru spent most of her life in the home her mother grew up in, an old and large Japanese house with her grandparents, originally as Hikaru Kurusou, her mother's family name. The Kurusous were an old family, straddling between tradition and progress, having stocks in several different kinds of businesses and owning one themselves, a series of electronics shops across the country, and yet named Hikaru as the heir in exchange for letting her mother marry her father, an American who was half himself, having Filipino grandparents. So early on, Hikaru was taught on how to be a proper Japanese lady and businesswoman.

However, through those years, they were quick to learn that she was both an energetic and kind little girl, leading her to explore a lot and plenty of strays taken in, which led to a many panic attacks for her parents and a many a scolding from her grandparents and teachers for causing trouble. To say the least, there was much arguing between her family about how to raise her, her parents not wanting to stifle who she was and her grandparents not wanting a troublemaker as an heir when they were already dubious over Hikaru's mother marrying her father and thus Hikaru's status as a "hafu".

Not liking to see her family fight, even though she wasn't close to her grandparents, she did her best to behave and learn and, in truth, she did find the lessons she was tutored on fascinating, it was just hard to focus with boring teachers. Still, she pushed through and instead of exploring the outside world, she explored within the house and found her fathers movie collection of DVDs, CDs and VHS tapes and with them she discovered Disney and plenty of musicals. Seeing the people burst into song and dance inspired her to the same and she ended up not only having another activity she and her parents could do together, but she found a way to expend her near boundless energy.

However, she still got in trouble a few times in school for things out of her control, like defending herself from bullies, stopping them from bullying someone else or the meaner kids lying about anything wrong happening and blaming it on her. Her grandparents let it slide, begrudgingly, since she was still doing well grade wise and had also was getting extra credit by particpatin in dance classes and the dance club, quickly gaining prestige for her skill...until one incident blew up everything.

Hikaru, in the tail end of her last year of junior high school, was leaving the school grounds to wait for one of the servants to pick her up when one of her schoolmates, from one of the many rich and/or old Japanese families like her, came up to her...and said they were now engaged. Of course she thought he was talking nonsense, but he kept making advances on her, and Hikaru eventually pushed him over when he tried to kiss her. Not expecting that, he lost his balance and fell, hitting his head, scrapping his elbows and dusting his clothes. And like the spoiled brat he was, he said he would tell his family about this.

It turned out he was telling the truth, that he and Hikaru had been arranged to marry by her grandparents as part of a business deal. But now that he was mad at her, the Kurusous were under fire, the kid's family threatening to sue and break off the deal. Her grandparents scolded her but her parents got mad for arranging a marriage without their input and it soon turned into a gigantic fight over it, with Hikaru having no idea how to diffuse the situation and thus, by the "end" of it, if you want to call it that, her parents left the room with her, ended up packing whatever they could and they left the estate, never looking back. They flew to her father's grandparents home in coastal Florida and, when they could, changed their family name to his family's: Desposito.

It was quite a shock for Hikaru, suddenly being uprooted and moving to a foreign place. But it also meant lots of new things for her to see and experience. She got to see the beach, chase squirrels and meet Americans who weren't her father. School wasn't too bad, helped by the fact she was fluent in English thanks to her father. Despite getting along with her classmates, she didn't really make any friends, partially because everyone knew everyone already and they didn't want to include her, as "exotic" as she was. It didn't help that the school wasn't accepting more members to their dance team.

At least until she became friends with a supposed delinquent named Ricky who always seemed to take every opportunity to not do school. In truth, he was just a teen that tried to make money since his divorced mother does a lot of work just to make ends meet, but he is always fired from his job as he usually gets too hot-headed. Soon enough, she became friends with Rick's sweets loving friend, Annette. Thus Hikaru began to form her own group of friends, all of whom didn't have any before either. First after Annete was an eccentric artist named Yuri, followed by the school's top and strict student, Meredith, then the super shy anime and gamer fan, Floryn, and lastly the school's "rich girl", Holly. It felt good to have these friends, as most of the ones in her old private school either were too pompous, too bratty and too superficial for her. She never thought she's be so close to other people who weren't family.

Then one weekend while checking out books of the "original" versions of fairy tales in the local library, she saw, to her surprise, a boy about her age getting a "Japanese to English" book. She had to know. And so she asked if he was Japanese...in Japanese. It seemed to have caught him off guard as it took a while for him to answer but eventually he did. Assuming he hd trouble with English, she offered to help him learn since she was fluent in both. After another moment of hesitation, the boy said yes.

And that was how she met Kogoro Waite.

Since then, she began to spend most of her weekends with him, especially since he was from another school while her friends went to hers, helping him learn English and her more about him in turn, like how his passion for machinery and stories were somehow quiet yet strong, how no-nonsense yet sweet he was whenever she got mischievous, and how much of an attentive listener he was.

Later, she started including him in group hangouts too, and eventually her friends also spent time with him as much as with her or the group, slowly but surely seeing him smile more often and Hikaru felt happy seeing him like that, liking to see him smile, willing to do her best to have him look like that. She was in love. Of course, she didn't actually realize she was until her friends in school started teasing her about it, asking when was confession, but after they did, she knew they were right. She did fall in love with Kogoro.

So, she did as she was wont to do. She dealt with it immediately by confessing to Kogoro that she fell in love with him, not knowing if he felt the same but not minding if he didn't. To her, what was important was that he knew. Thankfully for both of them, Kogoro actually did feel the same and, she would admit, she was glad for that. Kogoro was very cuddly. But really, not much changed betwern them besides being affectionate too each other. And well her friends and family teasing them about being a couple and such. It was just how they were, simple as that.

And now she's just going about her days normally, helping Kogoro pick a college she would also want to go to as well when it was her turn to graduate.

An adventure, though, is waiting for them first.

Fairy Tale: Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp (Arabian Nights)

Artifact: Ring of the Sorceror, the ring that Aladdin is given by the sorceror that told him to go into the cave that held both untold treasures and the magic lamp.

Costume: Much like with her regular clothes, Hikaru as "Aladdin" is just as simple, as befitting both a "street rat" and a "lazy bum", but just as obviously Middle Eastern, as befitting of the setting of the most well known version of the story. In fact, most of her costume is made of clothes traditionally for males in Saudi Arabia.

On her head she has a white shemagh, the headwear most Saudi Arabian men wear, and her pants are a sherwal, loose yet baggy looking pants, that's also white, held up with a simple strip of black cloth that also holds the red sheath holding her scimitar. On her feet are black slippers while her hands are covered with black gloves, the golden ring over the middle finger of her right hand being her artifact. The only thing not tradrational male Saudi Arabian would be her white long sleeved tunic and the small, black, sleeveless vest over it.

Weapon: A scimitar with a beautiful hilt, the handle crimson red and the silver handguard having golden snakes coiling around it.

Abilities:
Summon of the Ring: Within the ring that is Hikaru's artifact is a fairly weak djinni in the form of a shadow-like ghost with golden eyes, human in shape except for its legs replaced with a wisp/"tail" (ie Casper the Friendly Ghost). When summoned, it acts as her familiar, doing whatever she bids it and it cannot disobey her. It also cannot be ordered to do anything by anyone else. It is only about twice as strong as the average human, strength and endurance wise, and has the ability to float.

Summon of the Lamp: Hikaru can summon a more powerful djinni, like with her ring, looking like a large seven-foot human made of red smoke and black eyes, its armor usually having characteristics of the lamp she used to summon it from. Unlike her ring, however, she needs to get her hands on a lamp of any kind, it has to be empty and it takes about a few seconds to summon it as she says the chant "I call upon thee, djinni of the lamp, to do mine will. For three wishes as a fee, I will then set you free!" Once summoned, she can order it to do three things, none of which it can disobey nor can it listen to the commands of others, before it poofs out of existence and she needs a new lamp to summon another one. Unlike the ring djinni, this djinni is much stronger than it and can also do fire magic, summoning fireballs and breathing fire.

Possessed by Power: One thing that djinn can do is possess people. As such, should Hikaru order it, instead of being summoned as a familiar, the djinni can possess her body to give her a boost to her body, increasing her strength, speed, endurance and senses. However, she can only be possessed for up to three (3) minutes and thirty three (33) seconds.

Cave of Wonders: The place that Aladdin had been trapped yet escape. Hikaru can make a dirt tiger head about thirteen (13) feet tall appear from the ground that then snaps shut, pulling whatever is in its mouth into the ground with it. However, she can only do it on dirt and stone areas, not concrete or sand, and it takes her about a thirty seconds to charge and then she needs to say, "Cave of Wonders from deep below, reach above and claim more for your trove!" to activate it.

Don't know how often she's gonna come across magic lamps to use that second ability though. Unless she can summon a djinni through light fixtures. :p

No she basically uses a lamp as an anchor/summoning ingredient. That's why I said lamps in general and they have to be empty. So, say, she finds those fire-lit lamps and uses it, there has be no fire on and if she uses an electric one, the lightbulb has to go, but that won't be easy to do with things like street lamps unless she's desperate enough to break one.

Alright, @mehmeh1, I’ve got some questions and comments for you.

First off, welcome to the Role Playing Games subforum, and congratulations on your first SU! We’re happy to have you, and we hope you stick around. Most of us are veterans of the forum, but don’t let that scare you. Mon and I (and probably all of us) are here to answer any questions you might have, and are happy to give out pointers. You are free to join the Discord for this RPG now if you’d like, PM me and I can give you that link.

- Your personality and appearance sections are way too short. Serebii’s rules require at least 100 words, and most GM’s require at least two paragraphs worth. You have a good start, take what you have and elaborate. SUs aren’t a list necessarily, it’s a lot like a pre-RP post and yours is reading like a list. Take a look at the other finished SU’s, and you’ll kind of see more on what we’re looking for. Quality over quantity, of course, but adding more detail and descriptive sentences will do you a lot of good.

- More on your personality: again, good start. You don’t need to write in that your character’s personality will gradually change, however, I can promise you that any good story will do that naturally. In short, I feel like I know a grand total of nothing on Giuseppe. Some questions to ask yourself: if he acts differently from day to day, how differently can he act? Why does he do this? Why does this 23 y/o not know who he is, and how does he feel about that? If it helps, the way I write personalities usually goes like this: a paragraph about the basics, a paragraph about hobbies and likes/dislikes, a paragraph of their flaws, and a paragraph of their core beliefs, attitudes, and goals as a person. You obviously don’t have to do it my way, but having a roadmap and objectives in mind has always helped me in creating new characters.

- Your history is a good length, and honestly I really liked it! The only issue I’m having with it is it’s a wall of text. You need to break up your paragraphs. If you’re on mobile and the text box is being finicky, I suggest pulling it into a notes app and formatting it that way. While it’s no official rule, having a break in between paragraphs (as you can see me doing now) is highly appreciated and the easiest to read in forum setting.

- I don’t have a lot to say about your fairytale section, it’s good. I would flesh out your costume a little more, but that’s about it. Yes, it’s called a chisel. Your abilities are great and I can see the Pinocchio, although the way Convincing works is a little vague and I’d like to see that explained a bit more.

- Check your grammar. I usually write on Serebii forums, but will pull it into Google Docs to see what grammar bungles it can find, and then I read it out loud to filter out anything I might have missed. You have a lot of missing periods or misused marks, your short sections are one long sentence and it’s hard to parse, little things here and there that undermine your writing as a whole.

Overall, I really love your concept, and I think you have something really good coming on here! But, it still reads like a WIP. I need more flesh on these bones before I can accept you. You’re getting there. If there’s anything I can do to help, just let me know!

Thanks for the advice, I'll be editing some stuff then. I do have a question though, what is a GM?
Tbh I hadn't put that much thought on the personality part, so well, let's see what comes out of my mind.

Tbh I hadn't put that much thought on the personality part, so well, let's see what comes out of my mind.

It's short for Game Master. It's basically the person that makes and runs the RP.

Sketchie is Co-GM. He helps with that stuff.

Gamzee Makara has dropped out, which means if anyone is interested in Little Red Riding Hood, the spot is open.

Schade also dropped out, but I’m filling the Sleeping Beauty spot myself, as I doubt anyone else would want it.
