Has anyone bought a copy of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald off of eBay? I initially bought one from there because the UK were charging exorbitantly for it, though I learned the hard way that paying full price is the best way.
Whenever I got to a certain point in the game, or didn't play for a few days, it would wipe the file. It felt as though I was being punished for letting the game rest for a moment. This became increasingly frustrating as I was losing files with hundreds of hours worth of game play regularly. I finally got a 'non-fake', 'non-problematic' version last week and caught Groudon and Kyogre two nights ago, for the first time since owning a copy of 'Emerald' (around february), and my Poke-love has returned.
So here I am, excited for Diamond, loving Emerald's fight scene [Rayquaza/Kyogre/Groudon] and the way that it all appears to be unfolding. Figured I'd say my hellos and ask if anyone else ever had that problem.
Also, can someone just send me a finished copy of Ruby with Deoxys, Latias, Mew, Mewtwo, the mythical birds and a large hawaiian pizza?
On a separate note, if you've heard of Apathy (rapper)'s song "**** you", I wrote a Pokemon version which went:
go get em pi-chu / thundershock them from me to you //
think you trainers are hot / stop, its not true //
but even if your highest fighter's level 92 /
i got bigger and better pokemon like mew-two //
raikou, suiken, / entei, who'd win //
when zapdos thunderbolts your movement //
and rock type, i'll use articu' / lapras, houou, lugia too //
all the elements are covered quickly /
psychic, rock, ground, water - hit me //
ice, fire, grass, dark, ghost or steel /
poison or fighter, dragon appeal //
uppercut punch, swagger, duck, punch /
find arcinine find fireblast stumps //
and even if your plant can synthesise /
i got knives to scythe ya type down to size //
