False swipe can't KO a pokemon.

It's not supposed to reduce the hp to one no matter what, it just purposefully refrains from KOing by leaving at least one hp.

It does not ever KO your enemys. Just because it never KOs your foe does not mean it ALWAYS brings its HP down to 1.

Does it really? Because you never asked if it OHKO's a pokémon. False Swipe will eventually take the opponent down to one HP, but it depends on your pokémon's level and the opponent pokémon's level. If the other pokémon is a level a lot lower than you, than it will obviously need quite a few hits before it gets you down to one HP. Also, if you have it to one HP, don't use False Swipe again, because then it will faint, I believe.

Nope. If it's still used on the opponent who has one HP left, it won't affect it. No matter what, if it's used over and over again, it's going to leave ONE HP left.

Oh really? I could have sworn it killed it after.

EDIT: Oops, I made a huge mistake, the move that really does that is Super Fang, the one that keeps halving the HP until there's none left.

False Swipe attacks like normal attack, but it won't KO a Pokemon.

False swipe never KOs a pokemon, but who said it wasn't useful?

Most pokemon can learn False swipe at a high level, like Sceptile. with a high leveled pokemon like that, you can avoid all of them and search for one particular. Like, oh, i don't know, a Feebas?

False swipe came through for me when i was huntin' for Feebas. You can use it for a different method as well, like shiny huntin'.

False Swipe cannot faint a Pokemon but does not put a Pokemon into high risk 1 HP immediately= For example= It would take a hundred false swipes to take a Lv.100 Aggron to 1 HP

I just find it really useful to un-nerve the foe when you know that they don't have flail, pain split, reversal etc. but I love sending out my level 74 Scizor and not killing a lvl three poochyena :)
