It's not a game Kate.
In this thread Famous historical figures will face-off until only one reamian

Rules: I'll decide how I want this face-off to work depending on how many Nominations there are.

Nominations: Each SPPF member may nominate up to 8 famous historical figures.

Since it's historical figures only nominate people who died before 1940 (I had to draw the line somewhere).

I'll nominate some people later.

Have you heard of the tale of Ashoka the Great? It is the tale of a brutal bloody vengeful and successful Emperor who admired Alexander the Great but unlike Alexander, he one day later witnessed the horrors of his wars, the masses of dead bodies laid across the land, the families he torn apart, the blood soaking through the earth. He was horrified of his actions and with that he lost his desire to conquer. Instead, he renounced his past actions as great misdeeds and no longer wished to be a feared tyrant but a loved servant to the people, seeking for non-violent, almost pacifistic ways to work with his neighbors than conquer them. That's a story you don't hear a lot in history, it almost sounds like fiction. It is said that thousands and thousands of kings, conquerors and emperors crowd the history books, only Ashoka shines and shines alone.
