  • Toxic Ball - Higher catch rate on Poison types. Can also be used in marshes (because of the noxious gases).
  • Spooky Ball - Higher catch rate on Ghost types. Can also be used in graveyards and other 'haunted' buildings and places, e.g. the Pokémon Tower in Lavender Town, the Strange House in Unova or the abandoned Thrifty Megamart in Alola.
  • Draco Ball - Higher catch rate on Dragon types, or Pokémon with draconic features or appearances.
  • Darkness Ball - Higher catch rate on Dark types. Also works similarly to the Dusk Ball in that it can be used in 'dark' places, like caves, or at night.
  • Magic Ball - Higher catch rate on Fairy types.
  • Mystic Ball - Higher catch rate on Psychic types.
  • Melee Ball - Higher catch rate on Fighting types. If caught, the Pokémon receives a big boost to its Attack stat.
  • Metal Ball - Higher catch rate on Steel types. Can also be used at steel mills, construction sites, and inside mines.
  • Stone Ball - Higher catch rate on Rock types. Can also be used in 'rocky' places such as mines or quarries.
  • Earth Ball - Higher catch rate on Ground types. Can also be used wherever there is sand, like caves, deserts or beaches.
  • Aero Ball - Higher catch rate on Flying types, or Pokémon with wings or a similar contraption. Can also be used in the sky.
  • Plain Ball - Higher catch rate on Normal types.

I feel like Magic and Mystic should be switched as Fairies are often related to myths and Psychics to magic.

We are so back Zygardebros
Relic Ball: Gives a 2x modifier for ancient Pokémon like fossils, Relicanth, Claydol, & Golurk. I could see Steven owning this

Risk Ball: A Pokeball who's effectiveness depends on the user's HP. 50-100% max gives a 1x boost, 25-50% max gives a 4x boost, 2 HP-25% gives a 6x boost, 1 HP gives a x10 boost

Actually really like this one. Forces you to use new strategies for catching Pokemon.

Miasma Ball - effective against poisoned Pokemon
Sky Ball - effective on Pokemon encountered while using Soar (really want this to come back in Gen 8)
Bravery Ball - 4x boost if your Pokemon is 4x weak against the wild Pokemon
Shiny Ball - 100% chance of capture when used against shiny pokemon

I really like the idea of opposites so most of mine correlate with an actual Poke Ball, and I also wish we'd get more Poke Balls that are effective against all types.

Dawn Ball: increased catch rate of Pokemon that evolve with a Dawn Stone and grants a general catch rate bonus when used during the day or in open areas.
Sun Ball: increased catch rate of Fire-type Pokemon and Pokemon that evolve with Fire and Sun stones.
Nature Ball: increased catch rate of Grass and Ground-type Pokemon and Pokemon that evolve with a Leaf stone.
Air Ball: increased catch rate of Flying-type Pokemon.
Hard Ball: increased catch rate of Rock and Steel-type Pokemon.
Spark Ball: increased catch rate of Electric-type Pokemon and Pokemon that evolve with a Thunder stone.
Spirit Ball: increased catch rate of Ghost and Psychic-type Pokemon.
Mythic Ball: increased catch rate of Dragon and Fairy-type Pokemon.
Hazard Ball: increased catch rate of Poison and Ice-type Pokemon, and Pokemon that evolve with an Ice stone.
Combat Ball: increased catch rate of Fighting-type Pokemon.
Shiny Ball: increased catch rate for Shiny Pokemon and Pokemon that evolve with a Shiny stone.

Changes to old Poke Balls:
Dusk Ball: increased catch rate for Pokemon that evolve with Dusk Balls.
Moon Ball: increased catch rate of Dark-type Pokemon and Pokemon that evolve with Water and Moon stones.
Heal Ball: increased catch rate for Pokemon afflicted with status conditions.
Level Ball: increases the catch rate of a Pokemon depending on the level difference between your Pokemon and the wild Pokemon. The larger the difference, the better the catch rate.(differentiates itself from the Nest Ball)

Prank Ball: Resembles a Master Ball, except with a lower case m and off-color purple/red. It will fail if used on any Pokemon regardless of the circumstances, but is guaranteed to catch Magikarp. Costs just 50 Pokedollars, for trolling
Mascot Ball: 100% guaranteed catch on Pokemon of the Pichu line and starter Pokemon
Variant Ball: x4 effectiveness on "variant" Pokemon aka Pokemon with form changes.
Divergent Ball: x4 effectiveness on Pokemon with branch evolution.
Cable Ball: x4 effectiveness on Pokemon that evolve through trading.
Clock Ball: x4 effectiveness on Pokemon who's evolution is day-specific.
